I agree with the marriage thing, Marriage to me seems like "making sure" your partner doesn't go off with someone else, which is ridiculous and paranoid, because if that is actually a risk then why are you getting married in the first place?

You can turn it into that sure, but in the same sense that you can do that with anything.
