tauiwi
Good question. Amsterdam is an amazing final track. My favourite 'album closer' is actually a track that is 2nd last on the Editor's record, 'An End Has A Start'... 'Spiders'.... I just get the feeling that something is coming to an end when I hear that. It's a great playlist closer.

Guest howyousawtheworld
Amsterdam for me as well. Doesn't get much better for a closer than that. But I like The Wanderer by U2 featuring Jonny Cash on Zooropa as well.

BlueberrySwing
Amsterdam, indeed. But also: A Day in the Life closing Sgt. Pepper's (The Beatles). That last Pianochord - goosebumps. Plus Married with Children and Champagne Supernova by Oasis, closing Definitely Maybe and (What's the Story?) Morning Glory, respectively, aswell as The Shins' The Past and Pending, which is on Oh, Inverted World. All are extraordinary brilliant.

deaths_friend
^^ interesting. that was my only criticism of the album, that the tracks were a little out of place. otherwise its one of the best albums i've ever heard (Jonny Greenwood says that too, so it must be right) when i get the chance i'll post on the GB appreciation thread what i think the track listing should of been
