mc_squared
I've been on a million meds for depression but nothing really works well. I hate anti-depressants they just made me feel numb. I still get depressed a lot but I realize it's a chemical imbalance and I don't play into it and think negative thoughts. If I can I like to exercise when depressed, Run or play racquetball. When I was young I was a fool and when I was depressed thought horrible thoughts that lead to being more depressed and that led to doing stupid things. :stunned:

Guest LiquidSky
Hmm I'm the type of person that doesn't quite never knows why they are down but just feels it.. Hmm I normally go for a walk (fresh air) work out take a bath read a book (to focus on other things) sing listening to music (although some music make you more sad than happy..you just gotta figure out which one makes you feel better in a way) writing sometimes helps too watch comedy like curb your enthusiasm! neonhorn22
I agree...listening to music is a good way to pull yourself out of a funk. There is one song in particular that I just laugh and laugh at and it makes me feel better for some reason and that's Tangerine Speedo by Caviar.
