Zeya
Hello. :) There are some instances that the wisdom tooth doesn't need to be pulled out, but oftentimes it pushes the roots of your molars (cos its trying to erupt and it doesn't have space) and it gets resorbed, and its not a good thing. So it is advised that you should get routine radiographs of your teeth for observation and to prevent further damage. :) I still have mine on, and I haven't had them pulled cos in my radiographs it doesn't pathologically destroys my other teeth or cause any inflammation. :D Don't worry about it getting pulled, there are plenty of pain relievers and you will be under anesthesia during the procedure. ;) Oh thanks. It seems that you know a lot about this topic. I have one question though, usually at what age do people hve their wisdom teeth pulled out? And is there such thing as being too late? sp★rkle
I didn't have any pain from the jaw, I took vicodin today because of a headache I had due to not being able to drink coffee. So all in all the worst pain came from caffeine withdraw, I find that funny. I just haven't eaten much in the last 2 days, just a few hundred calories. Thanks for the advice! You're welcome. You have to really sacrifice the eating part in most cases lol. But you'll be fine. It will heal in a week. You only have like 5-6 more days to go? :D Hello ! Thank you :P Wow you know lot of things ! And you're lucky, cause some people I know had hamster cheeks with weird colors for days ! :D I'm a dental medicine student. ;) Yeah, some people gets complications especially if the tooth is highly inflamed. If not, its just the typical extraction of tooth with no adverse complications. Oh thanks. It seems that you know a lot about this topic. I have one question though, usually at what age do people hve their wisdom teeth pulled out? And is there such thing as being too late? There is no such thing as being too late. And your wisdom teeth need not necessarily be pulled out, like I mentioned earlier. Unless its creating a total mess in your oral cavity then it should be pulled out. :)
*Perrine*
Haha I was sure of that :P Well thank you for your advices !
mc_squared
Eat plenty of ice cream, it will account for faster healing. :) Don't spit! (Yes its gross first and foremost, but it can also dislodge the clot) And don't you worry about getting a dry socket, as long as your dentist got every inflammed tissue out of your socket, you'll be fine. Are you still taking any medications? Fine, but what happened to the dentist who was convicted of bank fraud?

Empily
I had two teeth pulled out from my top jaw when I was like 12  I had 3 local anesthetic injections in my mouth and it made the whole of my face numb. I couldn't speak afterwards which was kinda funny. :D I recovered pretty quickly anyway.
