Michelle Obama on Sesame Street!

Legendary programme. Wish they still showed it here on Channel 4. That was when Channel 4 wasn't the worthless piece of shit that it is today. Remember as a toddler watching it at lunchtimes on weekdays!

I can't believe the only channel to get it on is BBC Northern Ireland. :(

Wow. Democratic first ladies just can't win. Get involved a la Hilary and get skewered for being too involved. Do more modest First Lady activities like Mrs. Obama and get skewered for not doing enough.

No matter who the first lady is, she should take a back seat, keep out of the media and leave the politics to her husband :nice:

She's got style - you have to give her that.

She's probably busy with the garden, raising kids, and keeping a more peaceful place in the White House for her family - we all need some TLC and real family life, the pressures of the world being what they are. But speculation is just that - who really knows the level to which she is involved! Anyhow, someday with the provincial connection I've got, it might load from the BBC and I'll get a glimpse too! I'm so glad our President and First Lady both support Sesame Street - that shows a lot about their commitment to education, the youth of our country, and basic fun entertainment.
