I want one of those e-book readers, but now I just get the books I want to read from uni's library and I print the pdf's I need to read for school. I can't read from the computer, it hurts my eyes

If you can't be bothered to buy a proper paperback book why buy an e-book?!

Good point.

because it's cheaper? because some people doesn't have space to have too many books? because it's more ecological?

there could be many reasons to do it

Plus you could buy 20-40 decent books for the price of an e-reader

Well you need a power charge, they're terrible in direct sunlight, and are totally impractical for the beach................................ :dozey:

To me the whole idea of a book is to take a light break from technology... something that is light, and easy to take with you anywhere you like!

Very poetic!:P

My mom has a kindle and they're actually pretty cool. Its not like a computer screen, it doesn't hurt your eyes, you can enlarge the font and its much lighter (weight) than most books.

I've never actually tried one of those E-books before. I guess I'm kinda old-skool when it comes to reading.

uhh I just download it to my phone.. & voila! There's your ebook..but you have to have your charger 'cause the battery runs out but I don't usually read e-books though.

I just carry around chiseled stone tablets and read from them. :(

I think it's lame.:dozey:

YES MARK READING IS SOOO LAME

Nope. E-books are.:smug:

Maybe you're having problems reading.

E-book readers are good to take on holiday where you can load it up with books to read when your on holiday, instead of having to carry around the weight of books you only have to carry around the reader.

Yes, but you can't leave it lying around like a book, as it's too valuable.;)

But you won't leave it lying around, simplees

OMG ahahahah Mark there you go again with your rude puns  ;) :smug:

What is it that don't you like about E-Books? It's better than carrying 10 books around with you, it's better for the environment, and they don't really cost that much, you will save money compared to buying a whole bunch of books and having the money add up.

Put it in a bag/backpack or back in your car. People know better than to leave their things lying on the floor where thousands of people could steal or damage it.
