I'm definitely starting to think maybe a summer release now for Coldplay. It is important for them not to rush these things especially after they allegedly said that the last couple of months weren't as productive as first thought.

 

Anyone remember when they actually finished recording Viva La Vida and started mixing it?

I Also don't want for them to over do it , They spent ages on X&Y , Which was great just not as good as AROBATH

I guess we'll have the album probably on June

It is following a similar pattern, taking a long time, jumping studios whilst recording it, taking a long break, not being as productive as they hoped for...would be a pity to have another X&Y type record when they made so much progress with VLV...(IMO, I know lots of people would disagree with me there...)

 

That being said, they didn't have the discipline of Markus and Brian then and they do now. Hopefully they're just taking their time so they can spend time with family, rather than overthinking it.

 

And yes, roll on the buff Chris pics :whistle:
