I hope Chris Plys gets some play on the U.S. Curling team. He's sort of an abercrombie dude, but I've had the chance to play against him and he's amazing.

Opening Ceremony was pretty good despite being painfully long as always. I was slightly annoyed that they performed 'Hallelujah' because its sort of an anti-love song, and used ironically. I lol'd at the malfunction at the very end, though.

One of the 4...um....things that was supposed to be used to light the indoor cauldron didn't rise up from the floor, so only 3 of the lighters got to light it as opposed to the 4 that it was supposed to be.

I was listening to the radio, and the guy was talking about the reason he's not interested in the Oylimpics anymore is that we have no amateurs to root for. Everyone's a professional, it's not like the whole miracle on ice thing in Lake Placid...I sorta agreed with what he was saying. :P

^ If you're just talking about hockey, then yes, he's pretty much right. But hockey is one of the last things I associate with the olympics, as I have the NHL for that. Yes, its great to see them compete internationally, but its the less popular sports that make the olympics exciting.

It was more in general, the hockey thing was just an example. I've never had much interest in the olympics anyway though. :tongue:
