I'm a little late on this since I've been sick, but here it goes.

 

My god, I can't believe I watched that. It was unbelievable but it also made me cry for about two hours straight after it was over. Watching Jack die, I just couldn't take it. The way they did the entire thing was just perfect. It was perfectly executed, perfectly acted, and perfectly ended. Everything about this show has been perfect from the start, so I didn't expect anything less than outstanding. I loved how they all became a family. They all had to wait for each other. The flash sideways, at least my sister and I think, was a sort of limbo state. They were waiting for each other to be ready to move on. To remember, and to be able to let go, just like Christain said. It reminded me of Titanic. Remember how after Rose died as an old woman, she went back to the boat and was with Jack, still young? It was a lot like that. Really sweet, and really touching. But I can't believe the best show in the entire world is over. I also like how Hurley was Jacob. They implied that he was Jacob for a really long time, too, until he and Ben passed on.

 

Six years ago, on September 22nd, 2004, I sat down, 16 years old, to watch a show I'd heard about all summer that looked pretty good to me. I still remember that I was eating Chex Mix, I don't know why. The previous show ended, and it all began. My obsession began. The greatest show that has ever been on TV, began. A show that would change my life forever. A show that would change the way I think about TV. I want to thank Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse and JJ Abrams for that. This show changed me, to what I think is definitely for the better. But the bad thing is now I'm going to think every other show sucks. Nothing can beat LOST.

 

 

And now is the time when I start saving up to buy every season.

 

 

When I still think about the end, with Jack's eye closing, I get misty eyed. I don't think I'll be able to watch that finale again without crying my eyes out, when I buy season 6.

 

Thank you, LOST. Thank you for being my light of the week for the past six years. Thank you for being a distraction for me in the best and worst of times. Thank you for being the greatest show I've ever watched in my entire life.
