So what do you guys hope the most to see in the finale?

 

 

...I'm kind of satisfied with where the puzzles ended up after the last episode, with Jacob sitting everyone down and giving them a big mea culpa. He's not good or evil, just powerful and a little lost. Like everyone else. The thing I want to see more than anything is some proper emotional resolution for the characters - that redemption they were promised at the beginning. They started out as these really complex characters who each had a problem and then got buried in the puzzles, and I'd like to see more of that humanity come back, so we can see how big their character arcs are.

Desmond is oddly confident in himself. I mean, Charlie 'woke' him up, but Desmond takes it more seriously. Is it because of that electromagnetblablabla thing? :thinking:

 

Ben seems like he's so suddenly buddies with Smokie. But Ben is Ben, I can't help liking his character no matter how bad he becomes. I have a feeling that Ben would be the one sent to kill the candidates.

 

Now that Smokie has some theory about Desmond; does that mean he thinks Desmond is the new Jacob? I'm sure he doesn't know that it's Jack that's the one.

 

And I'm glad that the rest didn't fight to be the new Jacob, but just let Jack take it up. Jack has changed so much. In the parallel thingy, he seems doubtful about fate and believes more in coincidences (Just like old Jack), but now he's all into 'destiny'.

 

Richard is not dead, in my opinion. But if Jacob dies, can Richard die?

 

Why can't pregnant women be on the candidate list? Which also brings to the fact that it was Jin, not Sun.

 

The way Jacob talked to everyone... It's almost as if the creators are explaining the answers to us. :lol:

 

 

If Jack can't kill Smokey, I kinda hope Ben will follow through and finish the job. He sort of has to, because Smokey wants to destroy his beloved island (which will probably kill everyone except Smokey and maybe Desmond). I'm really curious to see how Smokey wants to destroy the island. As it involves Desmond it has to have something to do with electromagnetism, and the light stuff.

 

 

Considering what happened to Widmore and that chick thanks to dear Ben, that was actually a smart move.

 

Yeah, Smokie telling Ben that he wants to destroy the island when he earlier promised Ben that he would hand over the island to Ben seems like something Ben could retort to. And since Ben is one of the constant killer, perhaps Ben would be the one to kill Smokie?

 

And Miles, you're right, it was indeed a smart move. Which could mean that he is going to be in the finale.

 

There are going to be loads of people in the finale. Can't wait!

 

Oh, that's right, I forgot about Rousseau and the weird relationship with Ben.

 

Them all staring at each other, it seemed like they were trying to get that they kind've remembered each other... or they're into each other. :uhoh:

 

That would be awkward for all of us.

No, it's because he apparently understands how things work.

I think it's just something with Desmond's resistance to massive amounts of electromagnetism.

Richard just can't commit suicide (ie the rule is he or his body can't cause his death), but it has nothing to do with Jacob being alive or not, otherwise he would have been blown to bits by the dynamite.

It's not about being pregnant, but being a mother (in Kate's case caring for Aaron). But I agree it's more likely that Jacob meant Jin on the list.

That "The end is Nigh" program had Ben's actor saying they'll focus on answering the most important questions and other minor things (like the underwater station e.g.) may just have to stay a secret.

series finale tonight! I can't believe it!

Series finale. It just doesn't fit in my head.

 

I've been living with lost for 3 years. Some of you have been living with them for all six years, but I started to watch it in the begining of 2007. The first episode I've ever watched was in season 3 the one where Des saw flashes with Naomi coming to the island. I know it was a stupid thing to do, but I was really bored and there was nothing else to watch on TV and I never thought I was ever gonna watch it from the begining. (though I didn't understand a thing about that episode then :lol:) But somehow I decided to watch the very first episode. Since then I got so much into it. All my family thinks I'm crazy. I even got my brother to watch it. Though he's not as big fanatic as I am, but it was cool to have someone to share my theories with.

I'll never forget how amazed I was when I first saw that Desmond was living in the hatch, or that there was whole "the others" village. Those two season premieres were my biggest shockers...

I'm gonna miss the "wtf" feeling after watching lost.

 

And tomorow is the end. No more lost. It makes me sad thinking about it.

I'll have to be in school till 3PM and the watch it online. I'd skip some really pointless lessons, but I can't, since it's my last monday in school ever.

 

The end will be epic, I'm sure about that. It can't be any other way..

 

and I'm going run home REALLY FAST, that's for sure.
