Are you that scared of needles?

Haha, to be honest with you, I had to do this vaccination thing today, and deal with kids/moms.. it was terrible. I don't really like people..

And whoever dares to tell me I chose the wrong profession, go buy a plant :nice: I just hate.. doing stupid stuff.. like vaccination.

YES, I can take pics :nice: the doctor was really nice.

I'm having a biochem test on Monday, so I'd better go study like.. NOW.

But it's good to know I'm not risking too much with physio.

Uh, that's kinda... problematic^^ I hope you'll manage to deal with it later :nice:

Cause House on Tv is awesome... but in real life I think I'd hit him xD

You chosed the wrong profession *runs for her life* Nahaa

Good luck on your test! I'd prefer have random tests a bit everytime that just 2days of exams when you have tests for plenty of different classes

Haha yeah, I'd slap him or kick his balls :P

:whip: I love my profession :(

Haha thanks, I think I'd be better that way, not every 2 months and the finals.. It would be really relaxing..

My dream is to be a neurosurgeon and later specialize in immunology, pathology or cardiology.

cool!

Is it just me or do the Islets of Langerhans sound like something from Lord of the Rings?

Haha I think you have to explain that point

Hehe I guess we're the opposite ^^

Kick the balls sounds safer :sneaky:

That's not relaxing... cause in october you think, oooh no problem the exams are in march I don't need to learn that stupid biochemistry right now, and in february you're like omggg I'll never make it haha

It's just the bit of the pancreas that produces insulin, but the name is like a Lord of the Rings character. Sir Islet of Langerhans

I know what Islets of Langerhans are hehe ^^

I just didn't get the LOTR reference

Haha well, this last weekend I was exactly like that. The first month I was like "HAAA, Biochem my ass :nice:" and I was practically having a heart attack today while answering my test.

I did ok btw, thanks for the good luck wishes :nice: !

AHHH and I did an EKG today :cool2: I fucked up one of the electrodes, V1 :mean:

Yeah I wasn't insulting your intelligence, it's not ACTUALLY something in Lord of the Rings, but the name seems so out of place among the usual biological terminology.

Great!

Anyway, we've been told that even the ones who're really good at it almost fail the exam, so I'm not worrying much, I'm trying to learn most of the things :D

Wow that's so cool! I did it once too, but not at uni, omg you have such cool classes :disappointed:

Haha don't worry I get used to have my intelligence insulted

Yeah it does, but I think I could find other names... if I found the motivation to do so^^

Haha, that's really good, I hope you're one of the very few who pass the exam ;)

GUESS WUT, I GOT 92 IN BIOCHEM, I nearly died when I heard my grade.

Tomorrow I'm going to the old people/genetic disorder children's place, I'm not as excited as I should be, but bleh, I'm skipping 3 classes thanks to that.

You'll see that eventually, when are you having cardiology as a subject?

Hang in there! I just finished interviewing at 4 Med schools for a slot in the fall...keeping my fingers crossed!

I'll wait a while, I don't want to piss Ian off so soon.

What's new with you? How's the semester going?

Surprisingly well..

I got a 92 in anatomy and biochem.

90 in physiology, 85 in preventive medicine, 86 in genetics.

And well.. I'm learning a lot.

What about you? :nice:
