Probably I will never be able to become a medical already, and I a little spare about it. :disappointed:Somehow I spent almost half-year in a medical library studying schizophrenia, simply on my own. This was a pretty interesting experience.

You're not the only one who does that.

I'm reading a book that isn't related to my subjects from this semester.

You want to be a doctor?

Yeah, might be :P

I had my genetics test.. it was ok. I think I'll pass..

On Wednesday in biochemistry I'm doing this cholesterol thing, so more blood..

I'm really tired :( ah..

Oh congrats! :nice:

Wtf? Do you have to give blood each time you study a blood-related subject? :uhoh:

Alexaaaaaaa today I intubated someone for the first time ever... okay it was a nice 100% plastic dude, but still that was so awesome!

I got an 84 :wacky: doctor told me today :nice: And she made me do those Punnett square things.

It wasn't gonna be like that, but the girls in my team made a tiny mistake and they threw my blood to that biohazard thingy, so they nicely asked me to give more blood, and I'm fine with it, but I'm doing the procedure by myself and alone :nice: they'll just watch :mean:

I'm happy for you ;D It's amazing and when you see the vocal chords :awesome: The only bad thing is the "pressure", even if it's a plastic model, you still feel like you'll fuck up.

I'm tireeed :( And I have to go this saturday from 7 am to 11 am. Jeez..

Thanks Eddie

I know it's not a 90+, but it's not that bad.. I'm doing the best I can to balance everything with this crappy schedule.

Yes, I wish to be the psychologist, or the parapsychologist  someone like Fox Mulder

Yay congrats!

Ha I hope they won't screw up again  By yourself? How are you supposed to do that yourself?

Yes! They were kinda hard to see and reach though, so I don't even imagine on a real body^^

Yeah you're right, but fortunately I found the right hole at the first try, haha :D

Scizophrenia is really interesting, I have a pretty high chance of developing it as soon as I am quite done with puberty :awesome: YAY!!

Well, I have this um.. little book with the instructions of what to do, so I did the test by myself  mixed some things, used a nice machine and checked my cholesterol levels with another machine :awesome:

It was low.

Wut, one of your parents has it? :wtf:

Yes, I wish to be the psychologist, or the parapsychologist  someone like Fox Mulder

Psychiatry seems more interesting IMO.

But I'd never really try it..

Oh okay, but you didn't take the blood sample yourself right?

I'm realizing that med studies in France kinda suck, almost only theory and lessons to learn, nothing practical like in most other countries

Haha no! I'd never be able to do that :P

Here's like this:

First 4 semesters - Theory

Next 4 semesters - Practical + theory.

Osteologia for the win

Lolz, the only thing I like about osteology is cranium :nice:

I know it's possible that you won't see this, but how was your test?

Haha I guess so :D

8 semesters in school.

1 year as an intern.

1 year of social service.

= 6 years.

You're not going to collect any trophies from your victims, are you?..opps, I mean patients.

^I don't even know what Dexter is about :shame:

Dexter is the most amazing blood spatter analyzer, who happens to be a serial killer as well.

Short? Add specialty to that :stunned:

Oh thanks! That's... kinda disturbing :D

Oh okay, how many years for specialty?

  • Author

NOES, he's absolutely amazing :nice:

Depends on the specialty, I heard somewhere that to be a neurosurgeon I have to do 2 years of surgery and 1 of neurology, or something like that..

Neurosurgeons are paid higher than surgeons in other fields, well in here. Do you want to specialize in that one tho?
