Fuck I am so jealous of you, I've seen two preserved calf hearts, felt a sheep brain, and seen another preserved stomach but that's all. I want to go to college.

I dissected a pig's heart in high school, gosh it stinks so much >.<

I understood today :nice: She was really careful explaining it, and I got it.

I changed the title cause I used to feel amazing by the fact that I'm a med student and I'm studying to have one of the best jobs in the world, but I dunno, maybe it isn't special at all. Maybe I'm still common like the rest of the world. Yay for me..

Blood for what? Biochem?

I'm giving blood again tomorrow, for glucose test. Did you take some blood? :D

I had an anatomy test today, easy  And I started doing some problems in biochemistry, pH.

Good :nice:

Oh don't doubt, if it's what you like, you don't have to wonder whether it's special or not! The dean of our faculty said us at the beginning of the year that we'll have the most beautiful job in the world, well ^^

Oh no, they just told the students that there was a lack of blood at the hospital so I went there with some friends to help :nice:

Oh, glucose test isn't much, although it hurts a bit

I think they took me 400mL or something!

Chemisty, ew.

In high school, I dissected a worm, a fish, a crawfish, and a frog.

I wish I had gotten to take anatomy and physiology because they got to dissect a bunch of neat things, like a cow's eye, a sheep's brain, and a baby pig. :awesome:

You shouldn't be so indifferent with people who try to befriend you.

i wasn't in honors biology... i didn't really like bio, and hated chemistry.

earth science was cool though... though the teacher was kinda moody in that he'd be really cool, but then he could also be a total ass.

I loved chemistry.

And biology was really easy... but I took it in 12th grade.

Shut up, you moron.

Wow that sounds awesome! Though the baby pig

Can't wait to do dissections again and learn how to make stiches!

What did I do wrong? :uhoh:

In my last morgue class of 1st semester, the doctor (amazing teacher btw) used a pig's heart to show us the heart anatomy :nice: and yes haha, it really stinks.

He also used a cow's heart, so fucking big, I used the scalpel on it <3

It has to be, medicine is so beautiful.. SOOO BEAUTIFUL DAMMIT.

Is your school linked to some hospital? Mine is. But they have blood :P

So I gave some blood today (again) and the person who took the sample did it wrong :stunned: broke my vein.

I didn't see how much they took, cause I can see blood, touch it, and take samples, but not see my own blood go out of my body :(

I dissected a fish for zoology :awesome: The lab stinked so much..

Anatomy is wonderful, probably the subject I love the most.

My advanced music class is  there's only 8 of us <3333333

So it's getting better? or are you just feeling better?

I'm not feeling any better, I'm just a little bit relaxed, I'm not going to school til 3 pm and I'm having 2 classes.

Getting home at 6.

Did all my homework, studied, so I'm free the rest of the week.

Well, I guess you know your background stuff then, because if you go into it with only a little knowledge at later stages it's REALLY hard, I couldn't do it and lost enthusiasm for guitar. Year 8 music was ok, Year 9 was a bit hard but Year 10 I couldn't fucking understand a thing, especially since the rest of the class understood very quickly and I couldn't

Basically, the advanced class is the Year 9's doing Year 10 music.

I plan on doing music all the way through High School, unless I change my mind of course

It could be worse, Blue Whales have a heart the size of a pickup truck. You would need a ladder to dissect that one and I bet it would be a smell you would never forget.

If you love morgue stuff there is a good book called Stiff by Mary Roach. She writes about a place in Tennessee called the body farm where they place dead bodies around to see how long it takes for them to decay in different conditions. It's interesting.
