I'm gonna go and agree with this. They're clearly better musicians, in my eyes at least.

NO. I did that but their other two albums are fucking AMAZING, listen to Favourite Worst Nightmare, it's 10542157574x better. And Humbug is even better I think but it might not be as accessible.

I don't see anything special about Vampire Weekend, in fact I think their music is atrocious. I'm not a fan of the Arctic Monkeys but their songwriting is infinitely better than lines such as 'Me and my cousins, You and your cousins, I can feel it coming'...just horrible.
