Cobalt
This is a common thing with iTunes. The problem simply is that iTunes sucks and is an overbloated piece of shit of a program. Presuming you want to keep iTunes, click File > Add Folder to Library... (select the folder the MP3 is in) This however can have unwanted side-effects such as giving you buttloads of unwanted duplicates in your library. You could also use an alternative, like Windows Media Player, Winamp or VLC Player, all of which don't have dumb problems like this one.
HandyAndy136
I've had this problem as well... I've never come across a solution on how to fix it, but I DO know how to fix corrupted files in the iTunes library itself (took me about a month, but y'know... :P)
Violet
Can't you just click-and-drag? That's what I do to add music to my iTunes library. :uhoh:
