I do avoid it, what irritates me is when people mindlessly go on about Lost and how great it is and discuss last nights episode etc like it's the best piece of televison ever to grace the planet.

Luckily I don't know many people who go on about it too much, but I did live with some about 3 years ago and they'd constantly be fucking talking about it, and researching all the random shit in that stupid fucking program to find the 'deeper meanings' and how they tediously linked up with other 'deeper meanings' and they were all like "WOAH this is MAD" you get the point.

what i love about the show is that you can talk to people about it afterwards and discuss what you think is going on. Most shows, u watch and that's it. Lost you can come up with your own theories/ideas of what is happening and share it w/ others.

Ok I can feel your pain there, did you try watching it with them? Not so that you join the "cult" just so that it's not all random madness to you, might have helped. Lost fans are notoriously annoying, I only know one in real life so I've never spread the annoyance, I just talk about it with people that like it.

The funny part is how close to the actual plot that is now... and according to the producers, it still didn't blow up the island. :curtain:
