I find it disturbing, a 40+ year old man would have very little reason to interact with a 14 year old girl other than if they were related, children of friends etc, it stinks of a preditory unterior motive to me, as with an age gap that great they can't have a great deal in common.

I addressed all of that to him, asking him if he thinks their parents would approve, if he thinks it's healthy and just flat out why he keeps pestering 14 year old girls, it's not like they instigate conversation with him, he pops into their threads, PMs them or adds them on facebook then pesters them with shit jokes constantly.

 

He is just a sad middle aged man with no real friends.

No I agree with you I don't think he's molesting them but it definatly isn't something many 40+ year olds do, in fact if he told one of his friends about it I'm sure they would think he was an odd and troubled man, maybe he's trying to relive his youth in some twisted way?, I really can't fathom doing that though.

I also find if hilarious how he calls anyone who doesn't agree with him or challenges him a troll.

I just read all 13 pages, shame I missed it. It's amazing how Mark can be so relentless and pursuing while at the same time ignoring so many comments and having no dignity.

 

Nathan, for the record, I don't think you're the only one who finds it abnormal that he converses with little kids. I also find it really sick. At first when I heard about it, I had been rarely on the forum for a few years before that, and I thought it was just rumours and despite how much of a childish asshole I've always thought he is, I actually didn't think there would be any truth in it.

 

But now it's different, I've been told first hand by young girls that he does do it (And as such I've passed it on) because although his stupid opinions, ridiculous logic, pointless news topics and horribly lame jokes are really annoying to read, at least I can see that. What we can't see, his PM's, actually make me feel uneasy knowing that someone as fucked up as him is still a presence on these forums which have always appeared to be safe for minors to visit.

This Bieber kid is great! Sure, his music sucks, it's soul-less crap, but he doesn't care, he's not passed puberty yet. I didn't know much about Bieber mania until I saw him interviewed on this horrible current affairs show last week, they basically kept asking him over and over how amazing it is to be so famous and he didn't really seem to care, just seems unphased by it. More power to him, he's making millions and when fan hysteria has been dead since the 90's boybands, he's somehow brought that back by singing horrible catchy songs, having nice hair and being un-intimidating.

Obviously nothing can be done to stop this, but you have to wonder why anyone with such hatred for the band would bother signing up to a Coldplay forum (which is predominantly for those who appreciate the band), unless, of course, it's simply to cause trouble.

According to you, anyone who slags off Coldplay, or calls them 'rubbish', doesn't deserve your time and responses, but you have been responding.

Generally speaking (when it comes to Coldplay, at least), that's true, but while you would probably be content to argue about this till the cows come home, I have nothing more to say on the matter.
