this thing with butterflies was cool but not serious

As much as I loved the butterflies, they can't use it for another tour.It would be "boring" and would kinda show a lack of creativity.Change is good.Each album is different so every tour should be different as well.

What a shame! I love those butterflies and I'll miss them.

I'm not entirely sure the butterflies are gone for good. There is a chance that the boys may bring them back next tour. But, I am certainly looking forward to the band's new album and especially new sound. :smiley:

Butterflies were VIVA. I loved them, but agree it's on to bigger and better things.

So I'm never gonna experience the butterflies fluttering around me and their glow-in-the-darkness while my ears are filled with LIJ?

The butterflies aren't under the oracle's control.

 

I know it's sad to think there will be no more butterflies, but we shouldn't be upset.

Even for those of you who didn't get a chance to experience the butterfly showers, Coldplay is moving on to greater and better things.

With a new record comes new ideas and new themes.

Lets be thankful that the butterflies were part of such a great era!

That's one of the special things that makes the VIVA era so unique.

It will surely be remembered.

 

Now all we can do is look forward for what's to come.

I know for some of you butterflies are so Viva... but I disagree :P

 

I mean, Yellow baloons are so Yellow

 

Butterflies are like... for Lovers In Japan

 

For me it is now like part of the song, just the way the balloons are for Yellow...

 

I'm not saying they shouldnt change... what I'm saying is that they can ADD brand new stuff for other songs of the new album :D! but that doesn't mean that they have to get rid of the butterflies :(

 

 

Why can't we have both old and new things mixed in a new show :D!

Yeah, but I think the Yellow balloons could go away as well.I like them but they could find something else now.Otherwise we're gonna see the same show over and over again.
