I'm just glad the shit-disturber that made me sick of coming here is gone for good. There's always going to be conflict of a forum full of people with different views, but that's no different than being in a pub or any public place. If people disagree, fine, but if they're just being boors, they need to be bounced out.

it was Albie... wasn't it... :wink3:

Hahaha! I knew you missed him Camuka :wink3:

Hahahaha, that would have been the icing on the cake!! No, I was only around for Albie's second spin around the boards and he wasn't NEARLY as annoying as the recently banned one. :)

I hope this brawl will end up soon. I'm already tired of it. :veryangry2: I've never seen such a fuss until the present one. I've read some topics where people had arguments but it wasn't serious. In that case, I don't pay attention to such a thread and I don't open it anymore. It's just annoying to read it. For those who are on here only to make trouble, I advise them to walk out on this website and to find another hobby such as a punching-ball for instance. No one needs to be rude in a forum. If they dislike it, just leave it for everybody's sake.

I came back to tell Ian how much his forum has meant to me over the years, but I've also read all the angry, nasty stuff and been saddened and angered by it. The good news it, it really has settled down, and only one or two are still at it. Things really aren't so bad here anymore, and many just want our old, fun forum back. Best to just ignore the few who want a brawl. It's over for the most part. :D

Well said.;)

Aw but I was in a fighting mood :disappointed:

Yeah why do a lot of people think that's so hard to do?

There's loads of threads on the forum I never click on.

I chose to read the negative stuff to understand why people were so upset. After that I'm just not re-visiting those threads. It's really simple. Like you said. Just don't click threads you don't like. :)

Exactly, it's why I don't understand when people say the forum is 'ruined' by a tiny amount of people who argue.

AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!! EVERYONE PANIC AND RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!!!! :o

Lately though the forum was so full of crappy negative threads that you basically had to stay out of most places to avoid it all... that may be why it was getting hard to stay out of certain threads... because they'd all gone wrong

That's just over-exaggerating, and it's part of the problem. It's like on this forum, everytime someone says 'fuck you' there's 3 people in other threads going 'OH someone just said fuck you this place is ruined'. Not even MOST of the threads are about flaming, like I keep saying, if you look for it, it'll seem like that.

The reality is that even through the worst days, maybe 4 or 5 threads at the very most will have arguing in them.

I only found a handful. I did see arguing take over perfectly good threads in a few cases, but that's nothing compared to when Nathan was around sabotaging threads. :)

Fair enough I wasn't around when all that happened, I've been told he toned it down a lot when I came back. He said his new account got banned today, I told him to fuck off, he's unwanted, move on! But in a banter kind of way, he said he agreed. I wonder how long it'll be until he shows up again. Probably tomorrow.

Why The Killers? Is that who you've been cheating on us all with? :disappointed:

I'm sure he'll be back, and it won't bug me so long as he tones it down. I have a few other forums I cheat on CP'ing with, and I don't have to put up with people antagonizing and stirring up shit just for the sake of doing it. But I DO love this forum. Even when I wasn't posting I still lurked and smiled at the funny stuff.

Sometimes it's good to take a break, but I'm pretty sure as long as this place exists, I'll be around. (Though I'm a lot more productive when I'm not here, lol.)
