My friends shout racial slurs in school.

What an anecdote

Any examples?

You know...the usual ones.

NO U :snobby:

****** isn't a swearword surely. It's construed as offensive yes but it's not a swear word like **** surely.

I never say damn. It's weird, that one never seems to get the job done. If I'm not that pissed I won't swear at all, if I get pissed enough to cuss it means I'm ready for fuck usually. Damn is rare.

I got in trouble a few weeks ago just for saying "What the hell?" :blank:

inorite?

I was arguing with my brother a couple months ago, and I accidentally said "fucking" instead of "freaking." I'm surprised he didn't tell on me.

i swear openly with my parents,

i say jesus christ when i'm surprise when i'm with them :laugh4:

My sister is the only one who thinks i should cut back a bit.

i swear openly with my parents,

I swear rather openly around my dad, I try to restrain a bit round my mum. Course when I'm driving I sound like a sailor.

"What the fuck are you doing?"

"Nice signal jackass"

"Dipshit's only going 15 miles an hour"

*slams on breaks*.."douchebag"

I think if I were to pick up the habit of swearing, I wouldn't do it in front of my parents. But I just don't like to swear.

My other brother who is a year younger than me swears a lot though.

I wouldn't be swearing left right and centre but throwing a few swear word in to the conversation is grand :nice:

lol, douche bag, dipshit or jackass isn't swearing, are they?

when we were 9 our teacher called us jackasses :nice:

Well in Ireland nothing is a swear.

According to the Catholic Church in Ireland the word Beejesus is a swear word that will mean eternal damnation for anyone who says it.

I think racist slurs are way more offensive than the 'f' or 'sh' word.

In my house, you couldn't even say Hell unless you were talking about the bible, lol. My mother only said 'fuck' one and it was to prove to me she could hear me doing it under my breath when I was a kid, lol.

I thought EVERYTHING was a swear in Ireland, lol. (But I didn't know 'beejesus' was THAT bad.)

Tracie my dear, even the word Ireland is a swear in Ireland. :D

It depends on where you live and if it's Parade season, I think, lol.

It's my understanding that 'feck' is an acceptable substitute. Same with 'arse'. But maybe I just watch too much Father Ted. My guy uses 'feck' all the time, even when he's in a good mood, but I've only heard him say 'fuck' two or three times.

I've never heard anyone say "feck" or "arse"; I've only heard the real words :nice:

Although, I think when I was younger I used to say fudge

Hahaha I dunno what the marching season would have to do with swearing but actually Ireland is pretty liberal when it comes to 'light' swears. On Irish radio the DJs often use words like shite, piss off and even bitch, as well as arse, feck and the few other words adopted into Father Jack's vocabulary in Father Ted. :D Quality show!
