May 21, 201016 yr Author Well, Philadelphia, what are you saying now? :smug: We might have terribly lost in the last two games, but we never were as humiliated as you were tonight :wacky: Seriously, get some sportsmanship :dozey:
May 21, 201016 yr Well, Philadelphia, what are you saying now? :smug: We might have terribly lost in the last two games, but we never were as humiliated as you were tonight :wacky: Seriously, get some sportsmanship :dozey: kidding? you lost by six points opening game. And you were just as bad when it came to fighting/penalties.
May 21, 201016 yr ^^ Thank you. And we have home ice advantage. We're going to kick some Canadien ass... hopefully.
May 21, 201016 yr Author Right  kidding? you lost by six points opening game. And you were just as bad when it came to fighting/penalties. Yeah we did lose from a lot, but we never behaved like the Flyers did last night.
May 21, 201016 yr Honestly, I think you guys were being the petty ones. Pushing and shoving and all. :dozey: But that's just my biased opinion. :P
May 21, 201016 yr Yeah we did lose from a lot, but we never behaved like the Flyers did last night. How did they behave? the one actual fight was instigated by the canadiens. Other than that it was business as usual. Montreal dished out more than their fair share of cheap shots.
May 21, 201016 yr Author It's not just the fight, it was the cursing at the referees, skating into a player anytime they could, hitting them... just at the end, when that player took teh puck in his hands to throw it away.. I'm sorry but that was pathetic. I am not saying that Montreal is the perfect club with the perfect gentlemen, not at all. But the Flyers were worse in the third game.
May 22, 201016 yr It's not just the fight, it was the cursing at the referees you could hear them? skating into a player anytime they could, hitting them... we're talking about hockey, right?... just at the end, when that player took teh puck in his hands to throw it away.. I'm sorry but that was pathetic. I'll give you that, though he lost his stick, was obviously very frustrated, and it's not like he did anyone harm. I am not saying that Montreal is the perfect club with the perfect gentlemen, not at all. But the Flyers were worse in the third game. granted, but it was hardly unusual/outrageous under the circumstances and hardly something to pull a mark over.
May 22, 201016 yr Author No I couldn't hear them. But what is it with shouting stuff at referees? They were probably not singing Coldplay songs. And yes we were talking about hockey, but playing fairly isn't doing that, when a player concentrates more on skating into you than the puck, it's not hockey, or not well-played hockey. I know he didn't do any harm! I was just pointing out how pathetic it was. Chris, you reacted on one comment I made right after I saw my team gloriously win one game. Our lives do not depend on what I think, it was just a silly comment in a hockey thread.
May 22, 201016 yr Chris, you reacted on one comment I made right after I saw my team gloriously win one game. Our lives do not depend on what I think, it was just a silly comment in a hockey thread. lol, I don't really take it as seriously as I may sound. Just as your comment came right after your team won, I was at the wrong end of that result, so when I saw somebody say: Well, Philadelphia, what are you saying now? :smug: We might have terribly lost in the last two games, but we never were as humiliated as you were tonight :wacky: Seriously, get some sportsmanship :dozey: my natural inclination was to say 'fuck off!' as politely as possible. Nothing personal.
May 22, 201016 yr :cheesy: The Flyers just danced all over the Canadiens. This should be a good game 5.
May 23, 201016 yr Author lol, I don't really take it as seriously as I may sound. Just as your comment came right after your team won, I was at the wrong end of that result, so when I saw somebody say: my natural inclination was to say 'fuck off!' as politely as possible. Nothing personal. Oh I didn't know your team was the Flyers, I thought you were just interested in the series. Sorry, I'll try to watch what I say, if we ever get to play well again :nice: :cheesy: The Flyers just danced all over the Canadiens. This should be a good game 5. I know :disappointed: We sucked big time that game. We had no energy and almost every pass failed. Bleh. I do hope so. Hopefully it won't be 5-0 this time.
May 24, 201016 yr disappointing finish for the sharks. overtime loss and dropping a 2-0 lead, 4-0 just doesn't do the series justice.
May 24, 201016 yr Author It would be nice to have one semi-final that seems like a semi-final, and not just a first series.
May 24, 201016 yr Dear Flyers, My dad and I will be watching the game and wearing lots of orange today. So you know what you have to do... but if by any chance you decide to pull a Pittsburgh on us, I shall personally go and cross the state of Pennsylvania off the American map hanging in my closet. No pressure. Good luck. Love, Alina
May 25, 201016 yr Author ^oooh so you are Alina :surprised: I didn't know we had talked to each other before :P This doesn't look good for us. The Canadians sucked big time in this series and this game isn't an exception. Please, do something, players, and stop letting Halak do all the job :bigcry:
