70s is going to be killer.

Although i don't actually have that many full albums, I'm more familiar with some singles from the 70s and 60s.

 

yeah im much the same. i only have about 30 albums from the 70s but im familiar with alot of the classic rock songs from that era.

i think restricting it to 20 will be better for cutting the wheat from the chaff. really force people into making decisions.

is there a way we can extend it to like 50 albums or something?

alright. time to test my knowledge and opinions of classic rock. I really hope I don't make a fool of myself...

I can't name 20 good 70's albums :uhoh:

i still think it's better to force people into making decisions, otherwise it'll just end up into a list of all the albums of the decade. considering it's the best albums of the decade your 21st favourite album of the decade isn't that important as that you are desperate for it to get a point or two. keep it at a constant all the way through. the 60's was twenty or less, i think the other decades should be too.

 

at a push i could whittle it down to five from each decade. it would be difficult but if it had to be done i'd come up with something.

 

make your list of all the albums you like, put them in the order you like them, then just type up the top twenty. it's easily done. if you had a longer list you'd still have to order it anyway so it's not like that is the bit that is troubling you guys. just seems like you want an ego boost by naming a lot of cool albums ;)
