Lovely summer? I don't know

Featured Replies

Soon my summer holidays starts and I'll be free for 10 weeks. 10 weeks of dust.

I have absolutely no idea of what I could fill this time with, therefore I created this thread.

I'd love to hear what your plans for the summer is, what you usually do this time of year - some inspiration for me. I'd also love to hear if you have any suggestions on what I could possibly spend this time doing.

Thanks in advanced, for any answer.

I usually go to the beach and go somewhere other than where I live for vacation. Then I visit some amusement parks, stay with my grandparents, and hang out with friends.

I plan on relaxing, going to a field hockey camp, and I think we're visiting DC sometime in July. :wacky: You should definitely try to spend your time hanging out with friends. Movies, parties, swimming, etc. :nice:

I'd also love to visit Kansas but that's a completely different story. :wacky:

I'm staying in California allllll summer. And.. and, it's going to be awful :bigcry:

I DON'T WANT TO BE THERE FOR TWO FUCKING MONTHS :blank: I want to be here in Norway with my friends :disappointed: Why must I have family so far away? :shifty:

But anyway,

You should travel somewhere :wacky: And you could even travel around in your own country  ..I don't know

summer time?

i like to do trekking, having a walk near the hill is good. :)

or go out with friends.

spend more time on my hobbies.

Visit your relatives, the ones that you don't get to see for a long time, or you can do some advance readings for the next school year  after you finish a book you can do some excessive shopping as a treat for yourself.

I'm not back in uni till September and I only do like one shift a week at the moment. I should probably start looking for another job but I can't really be bothered and I don't wanna miss the World Cup. I'll probably get bored after a while though.

Well I would go to lots of art expositions and travel a lot. You could have some fun with friends as well on weekends, go swimming, biking, expeditions to lush forests and mountains, go to lots of concerts etc etc.

I don't do anything. My life sucks.

^you think your life sucks,

The highlight of my day was remembering that F5 refreshes the page :blank:

....that's a lie, i think i'd cry if my life was that boring.

^I'd cry for you :anxious:

Nah, it's not that bad, I guess. Right now it is. I should really be looking for a job. In a way it's my fault. I don't have my license so I can't go anywhere and next month I'm going to Mexico for a couple of weeks so :P

:laugh4: thank you ivet.

I'm not even old enough to drive yet  so i'm stuck at home.

There is nothing in walking distance either. :laugh4:

Upside, i'm going on holidays at the weekend :nice:

I have no idea. I'll probably just come on here or go to the library.

BUT I'M EXCITED.

Same here. I live in the middle of nowhere :bigcry:

So it's not like I can walk somewhere fun :disappointed:

I live near water, which means i could go swimming.

But the water is kind of mank  i don't know how many diseases you'd contract from it, if you were to submerge yourself in it.

haha.

The area I live has a very high concentration of lakes. There's a lake down the street, and I could go swimming there if I didn't mind leeches and getting caught in the weeds and drowning :nice:

Write a book.

OH yes and this- also read lots of books.

I always start off the summer holidays with good intentions; to write lots, to draw lots, to walk lots, to play my instruments a lot, to go the gym lots and to bake lots.

But usually it all just goes down the drain and I end up wasting my life away sleeping, watching rubbish TV, pointlessly surfing the web and staring at facebook.

But this holiday it won't be like that! I swear!

I usually try to read some good books at summer, because otherwise I don't have much time. So read books.

I know right, I have no idea about what I'm going to do. It's not that easy when you don't have any friends to hang out with, live in the most boring town on earth (without any place to swim) and your relatives live 500 kilometers away.

^I can understand that, Erika Jeniva Mantup Mewgal.. but don't give up! You can do it!

Well, I guess my post count on here will be more than doubled after this summer
