Dating other Coldplay fans

Hey all, I hope this is of interest! I recently launched a website called Tastebuds. It's a fun new dating concept which matches you with single people who share your taste in music. Check it out at http://tastebuds.fm

If you have any comments, thoughts, suggestions - please let me know! I realise this will probably be marked as spam within 5 minutes but I am honestly not trying to sell anything, the service is entirely free and I intend to keep it that way! Let me know if you have a chance to use the site :)

There are more important factors to dating someone than their taste in music, this idea will fail, and fail badly.

With all due respect, the website has only been live 2 weeks and has had an incredible response with over 2,000 users signed up, so it's already a success. Keep an open mind and give it a try!

I've had different tastes in music to my exes, sure it's nice to have that in common but there are so many things that most people would put before it.

I don't need to sign up as I'm not single but if people do find love then great, I just have my doubts.

Totally understand where you're coming from, I've had great relationships in which we've have wildy different music tastes. I'm just aiming to get people talking through a shared interest, doesn't matter so much if they don't share exactly the same taste :)

Electric Candy, the site is at http://tastebuds.fm

I did a search on there, turns out there are no single girls with my taste in music in the whole Country.

I did a search, turned up with a bunch of absolute losers. :blank:

At least you got some results come up.

I searched too, and nobody in the state has the same taste as me.. or has Last.fm :blank:

Trust me when I say they're all losers. Not the type that go dateless to a party, the type that don't go to a party and stay at home playing Call of Duty. :blank:

So the key to have succes in a relationship is to have the same musical tastes.

NIce.

I know understand.

Your initial search was 'female looking for female'. I have to admit we don't have too many people who fit that criteria yet but we're working on it I promise!

Yeah, I can't really budge on that one.

Good luck with the site though.

If I pretend I like Kylie and Girls Aloud I get a single result, go me!
