July 31, 201213 yr I borrowed them from the library and started to read. (Page 11 now. lol) The Complete Sherlock Holmes!!!! I can't help thinking Sherlock and John.(Benedict and Martin their way acting and talking talking.. This is FUN.) It is great for imagination and know more details! Sorry for my bad description. It's Chinese version, four novels. Each of them is about 350 pages. :) (My desk is in a mess. :S)
August 1, 201213 yr Those are some pretty old (but cool) book you've got! Actually when I was in the library, I found another new one (which published in 2006) 9 books maybe. But someone has already borrowed some. So if I want that one, I need to wait. :shocked2:
August 1, 201213 yr The suspense is going to kill me. :bomb: I have to agree that the Great Game was freaking incredible. I love puzzles. :P
August 1, 201213 yr Gorgeous books! I love old books, they're so interesting :wacky: Ugh, I know, I feel like it's been forever since Reichenbach aired. And the worst part is that we still have a year + until season 3 airs because they're only going to start filming in January 2013 ;n; At least we know the wait will be worth it!
August 1, 201213 yr It could take longer than that considering PJ's decided to turn the Hobbit into a trilogy.
August 1, 201213 yr I think that even if they have to film more scenes, they'll be done before then. At least I hope. :| JOHN I NEED SOME GET ME SOME of SEASON 3 THAT IS  I also spent half my morning making this like a derp
August 1, 201213 yr Author The good thing with the Sherlock books, is that they are free to download from websites such as Project Gutenberg. :)
August 1, 201213 yr And even from itunes! (which is surprising because Apple are greedy bastards xD) I think that's why I love BBC Sherlock so much - it's so loyal to the canon. <3
August 1, 201213 yr The good thing with the Sherlock books, is that they are free to download from websites such as Project Gutenberg. :) I had the idea of doing that but I have never felt comfortable reading a book off a computer screen
August 2, 201213 yr I had the idea of doing that but I have never felt comfortable reading a book off a computer screen  So, going to borrow or to buy one is an another good choice!  Could it be possible that Sherlock publish 4 or 5 season? I hope so. :wink3:
August 2, 201213 yr I'd check a library then, I've never been to one that didn't carry Sherlock Holmes. Or you can buy the books; they're old and so they're pretty cheap. :nice: Benedict and Martin have both said that Sherlock is one of the few things they've done where they've just had a great time, and both said that they wouldn't mind doing it for a very long time. And then of course Moffat and Gatiss are Sherlock Holmes fanboys, so I think it's very likely they'll do at least 4, if not 5+ seasons.

August 8, 201213 yr Fans of Sherlcok in Facebook said "The games, Mrs Hudson, are on! Have you played the new Taxi Jam competition game on Sherlockology yet?" http://www.sherlockology.com/share/taxi-jam I played this kind of game before in the electronic dictionary.
August 10, 201213 yr :curtain: Hello. I've stepped into the Sherlockian realm because, on a random whim, I decided to rent Season 2 after spotting it in my local Hastings. I'll watch it at some point this weekend, and I'll see how much I like it. I've read all the Sherlock Holmes works (I have the books in two complete volumes. I got a great deal on them at Barnes & Noble. Both volumes for $15. :awesome:), so I'm pretty familiar with the stories.
August 10, 201213 yr Yay! I suggest you start with Series 1, otherwise you're gonna get a MAJOR spoiler!
August 10, 201213 yr They didn't have Series 1, so I didn't get it. D; If I get spoilered, I get spoilered. At any rate, like I said, I've read the entire scheme of works, so it's not like I don't already have a general consensus of how the adventures will turn out, anyway. ETA: Also, knowing that this is the second season, I already know that whatever happened in Season 1 didn't go badly for Sherlock, so it's not like it's that big of a deal.
August 10, 201213 yr Ooh, series 2 will be an interesting place to start off. I hope you enjoy it, Violet!
August 10, 201213 yr Ooh, hope you like it, Violet! I think it's brilliant. :D You might find the beginning of Series 2 confusing as it follows on immediately from the end of the last episode in series 1.

However, The Great Game has a great storyline that builds to the very end of Series 1 and right into Series 2. Oh and what Hysteria said!
