BIG CAT SIGHTING!

Featured Replies

Hello ppl, after a long time away from here due to a laptop virus I am back with an amazing story to tell, last night after a game of football (soccer if you're american) at our local playing football pitch. We had just separated to make our way home when me and three others walked down to into the surrounding woodland. We could hear screaming, it must have been from a fox but at the time we didnt know what it was, my friend got out his iphone and turned on the light, he shone it around and directly infront of us was a 6 foot black cat staring at us in the dark. It began to move slowly towards us and we ran as fast as we could back towards the football pitch, we were in total shock. I live in a small urban town 20 miles from london and never expected this to happen! amazing huh?

EVIDENCE IS NOT PROVIDED

I liked it better when there was a virus on your computer

I've heard the rumours about British big cats/phantom cats roaming the British countryside many a time but are quite rare to catch a glimpse of (if you believe in them) so I kind of half believe you. Whether you got chased by this Puma like creature is another matter altogether personally!

It's a really interesting thread from my point of view. I recall a time when we went on holiday to the Lake District and my dad spotted a massive paw print in a small woodland area. Only the previous night afre midnight he had heard a very loud scream from something - now the English countryside, full moonlit complete with howling screams seems a bit fictional to some but he was certainly not telling any fibs. Luckily he took a photo of the large pawprint...but unfortunately in typical mysterious circumstances it was the one photo in the film which didn't emerge when he got the set of photos back. Wooooooooooo!

May seem a bit Hound of Baskervillish but their existence seems fairly certain for me at least.

Or if you believe far more mythical and folklore tales regarding Puma/Lynx like creatures you'll be inclined to believe that it was in fact the Black Dog ghosts that terrorise the counties of Britain at night!

I don't believe in rumors, but I must say that the Hound of the Baskervilles was an amazing book.

May sound stupid but after some of the threads that have been posted over the last few days this thread is a massive welcome. In fact most of the threads on the Lounge are the biggest pile of stinking shit I have seen on the internet so thank fuck christopher Martin has the balls to post something that is half interesting!

Oh crap, I sended you a very innapropiate message

We have big cats like that around here sometimes. But they're tan. :P Apparently the gov't let'em loose a long time ago to control the coyote population.

/random

I got a big black cat in my living room

No really though, that's cool if you saw something puma/jaguar-ish. I'm not sure I'd know what to do if that happened to me!

Hear, hear. Best post of the month.

Once I was walking home from school and saw a fishercat a few feet away in the woods.

I RAN LIKE FUCK.

I think it'd be a whole lot more interesting if there was a thread about the Loch Ness Monster. Anyone??

Lock Ness Monster is overrated. So is Bigfoot, so don't suggest that either.
