Noel IS Oasis.

Liam was THE face of Britpop, of that Cool Brittania period in the mid nineties right up until it ended when Be Here Now was released and bands like Blur decided to move away from Britpop and of course when that Diana died in that car crash which meant nobody was in the mood to party again in Britain :(

 

A very very defining iconic man is Liam.

On the same token, without Noel's songs Liam would have been just another pretty face
