Arantza
I think I'll end up buying the iPod Touch since mine is almost dying and I'm about to run out of space for more music :disappointed: The nano is pretty nice too. It all depends on how much money I can spend.
Italian Plastic
Nano is too small, methinks. The new Touch looks really nice! I want one...

It all depends on how much money I can spend. Which Touch do you have? I own the 3G and won't buy the new one just beacause it has a camera (O.K. 2 cameras:-) ). Sure, the display is also better now and the hardware has been tuned. I'm the nano guy:-) I will grab one next week in green with 16GB :-)
fietssleutel
I want the new Touch. But my 2G is still working fine, so I guess I'll just wait until it dies. :D

Italian Plastic
I REALLY regret upgrading. But the worst thing, surely, is THE FUCKING LOGO
deaths_friend
i think we'll get used to the logo. it just looks weird cos we're so used to the old logo. but im not sure why they changed it.
viz94
For all people, who hate the new logo:cool: This should be interesting for MAC users: http://translate.google.de/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=de&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=de&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.apfeltalk.de%2Fforum%2Fcontent%2F1084-itunes-10-icon.html (Bad Englishh, because the original is in German:sneaky:)

Lu'kaa
I've got an iPhone, so I'm not planning to buy an iPod... But I can't wait to get iOS 4.1. I think iTunes 10 is cool. The logo was a bit weird but I already got used to it
deaths_friend
^^ are you the type of person who loves having all their album artwork nice and perfect for everything? and do you use snow leopard? if you answer no to both then i'll understand why you might not mind it.
Lu'kaa
Yes, I am. ^^ Actually I don't know if I use Snow Leopard but I think so... BTW do you know where I could find it out ? I don't really understand why you're saying this about the album artworks, it hasn't changed for me since iTunes 9. I'm still using the CoverFlow view and it's fine
deaths_friend
i would love to use the cover flow option but if i do i lose the column browser option which i use to navigate between artists. personally i think apple have changed the functionality of the album artwork feature to accomodate for a majority of their users who dont have full albums, rather they just have 1 or 2 tracks (hits) from each. with massive artwork it just looks silly if you only have 2 tracks connected to it. as much as i love apple, i cant help but feel that they've contributed greatly to the death of the album over the last decade. The logo was a bit weird but I already got used to it agreed. i was getting REALLY sick of the old iTunes, im glad it's been given a facelift. the new UI is nice as well, i like being able to control the music via the album art widget. nice feature. im also excited for 4.1 this week for my iPhone. and i recently won an iPad, so im excited for 4.2 to come out in November!:D

Death of the album, yeah, I agree, but not death of the artist. The CDs IMO were meant to disappear for something better. After all, it was just a small vinyl. I agree that there are some negative points accompanying that extinction, but I think the way we listen to music today with iTunes, iPods or stuff like this is definitely better. To be honest, I'm the kind of guy who also has only 1 or 2 tracks per album ! -Except of course for Coldplay and some other ones - But, still, I don't want iTunes to show me only the recurrent artworks that I have. I want them all. And I don't feel "ridiculous" at all, you know, I love my music library. When I don't like tracks on an album, I just don't see the point of wasting time and especially space by keeping them.

deaths_friend
yes. i have almost nothing but full albums and about a quarter of them in physical form. but i still own an ipod touch so im not against digital music or anything.
