Old comments. I can see Radiohead influences in their really early work (pre AROBTTH at least) but I can't see any Radiohead influence from album 2 onwards.

 

AROBTTH is just Coldplay's signature sound. That album doesn't sound influenced by anybody. Only influenced by themselves - which makes it an unbelievable album and by far their best.

i completely agree. AROBTTH is their signature sound and i think that album is just perfect, well would have loved crest of waves to be on it but it is still brilliant. it still amazes me. its just such a deep and powerful album. im just in love with it. as much as i love their other stuff, which trust me i totally love their other stuff, this album just cant be beat!:heart:

It's from '08. And it's mostly true. Coldplay's made better music in my opinion. It's a close race, though.
