Could You Live Like This?

I know someone who did something similar, but they didn't quite make it a rule that they couldn't spend money, they just tried being homeless for a year. Just lived in a tent or squatted in houses from time to time.

Didn't really ask them too much about how they did it and lost touch with them, didn't think of asking about things like bathing. He did say that food was the easiest part (if you watch the video you'll see the guy gets pretty stocked up on food with minimal effort).

Oh I forgot to answer:

HELLZ NAH. It's not just the awkwardness of everyday life.

I couldn't do it. Clearly that guy seems very humble, it takes a really strong person actually to just sit reading all day or living like that, and be content. But he doesn't have any direction in life, maybe he's happy reading all the time and discovering knowledge about the world around him and a better understanding, but is he just going to do that for his entire life? Where can he apply his knowledge too?

The thing he didn't mention is how he gets an internet connection in a field in Bath.

Oh and also you'll never get laid if you live in a freaking caravan haha!

Technically anything's a fucking forum violation.

To be honest, I'm not surprised it got locked. It is against the rules to call someone a psycho stalker, whether it is true or whether it is not and it will have been clamped down on before everyone starts arguing. Best to let it go.

I didn't say anything about that thread, to be honest it was a shitty topic so I don't really care anyway. That said, if you think that's the case, then they should have deleted the post and not the thread. As for it being out of line, it's not out of line to call a door "door".

Can't think of a situation that you'd need to though.

But yeah, what I'm learning that anything can be a forum violation.

You're so getting banned for that.

12 year old humor is a violation.

Well!

not liking twelve year old humour is a violation.

Calling something a forum violation is a forum violation.

Fancying 12 year olds is apparently not a forum violation.[/CONTROVERSIAL!!!]

Well the thread was pretty inflammatory. And it's all in the rules. I'm not saying I agree with all the rules though.

As far as I can see from what David posted this isn't a violation yet, it is just being looked into.

Back on topic, there's a homeless guy who hangs around certain areas in my town, and keeps his belongings with him on his bicycle. Several people have offered to help him, but he refuses their help, that's how he chooses to live. People have affectionately named him Bruce (not sure whether that's his real name).

Back off topic

May as well, the topics kinda lame anyway.

What's your favourite colour?

Actually this reminds me of this guy who lives near the wildlife park here,

but I don't think he's homeless by choice.

What's your favorite species of caribou?

That sounds political and possibly a breach of forum rules so I refuse to respond until I consult with the mods and get back to you in a few months.

Fine. My favorite color is whatever color my blood is before it's infused with oxygen.

Me. (some people call me Caribou )
