March 26, 200719 yr Give The Verve a listen if you haven't already, and Doves also. And Blur also, great British talent that's very different to a lot of the 'indie' stylee bands that are out at the moment. I discovered a great singer today called Skye Edwards, totally by chance, and now I'm even thinking of buying her album! Yes I know, success hey. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skye_Edwards http://myspace.com/myskyesite MySpace is a great way of finding new music that's totally different to what's played on the radio - Chasing Cars anyone? Great song, but has anyone else felt the urge to throw something at a radio when it's being played for the millionth time. I'm going off topic now, but yeah there is lots of great music, you just have to look for it. Oh yes I meant to say, Embrace are so under rated - if you want to see a band, other than Coldplay, that do what they do cos they love music then I suggest you buy Out Of Nothing CD/DVD, watch the documentary on the DVD of the secret gig tour, you'll see what I mean. PS. I know Embrace have had high charting albums an' all, but still they don't seem to get the plaudits they deserve. And they're mates with the Coldplay boys! What more could you want from a band.

MySpace used to be a good place to find new music, now every band and their pet dog has got a myspace page.
