Russia and Qatar - the two most money spinning bids over the pure football bids of the other lot. Ā An embarassing day for FIFA culminating in an embarassing few weeks for them. Ā I would have had no problem losing to Australia, because they'd do a great job hosting a World Cup...but a typical Arab totalitarian (anti-jewish, anti-gay, anti-alcohol, etc) state with less then 4 suitable stadiums already built?
