So he can't write deep songs because he has stupid hair?

I knew you would say that.. No, I was actually being silly.. I wish people around here would get sarcasm without finishing the sentence with the rolleyes smilie.. I thought our arguments were based on facts.. Maybe not "deep".. but i dont think they're meaningful.. at least not to me..

And besides, most songs (even non-pop songs) these days aren't deep at all. A song doesn't have to be deep to be good. Look at 'Love Me Do' by The Beatles. That has to be one of the simplest songs in existence, and look at how good it is!

I'm not a fan of Bieber, but I recognize that he has talent and I respect him for that.

Maybe.. But you can't judge Beatles' work for "Love me do".. I'm pretty sure I wouldnt be a beatle fan if all their songs were like that.. and btw, I'm not against simplicity, a song can be simple, deep and meaningful at the same time..

But whatever, "Baby" might mean something really really important for someone in this forum  <---- there you go

I think he's talented, but i dont like his music at all.. Maybe his music will be interesting as the years go by and when he gets out of that mainstream teenage pop bubble..

thats my opinion

Okay, sorry. :P

I try to avoid that smiley as well. :anxious:

I agree, his songs really don't have a lot of meaning other than little pop love songs. But that's what the majority of people want now, and he knows that. That's why he's so popular.

Ah, I love Love Me Do, it was one of my first Beatles songs. I happen to love simplicity. :P

And I agree, while I don't like his music now, it's interesting to think of what sort of album he's going to be making 10 years from now.

As has been discussed previously, you don't have to be a great singer, but you do have to deliver credible material, which Bieber hasn't.

You did not acknowledge my last post in response to you.

Reilly, why do you bother telling him that? He's still not going to respond to a point if he doesn't have anything to argue about it. :|

I very much doubt it. He'll almost certainly end up on the pop scrapheap after a few years, like the vast majority of "teeny" stars.

Well observed.

Is in the way he talks.. He doesnt talk like a retarded kid.. maybe his music sucks really bad.. But i dont think he's a complete idiot..

Nobody's questioning his intelligence, just his talent. He didn't come across badly when he was interviewed on TV. His screaming fans did, however. They were extremely embarrassing...................... :dozey:

I don't like his music but he's talented in what he does. About his intelligence well...

This coming from someone who defended the fangirls.

Not all fangirls are embarrassing like Bieber's.

Furthermore, Coldplay fangirls clearly have great taste.:smug:

FANGIRL EXPERT

If we were judging an artist for his fangirls.. I wouldnt be posting in this forum

Yes but that has nothing to do with anything, well done. You said you'd have to be tone-deaf to like Bieber, and I said the FACT that he can DEFINITELY sing in tune UNDENIABLY (as a tuner measuring his voice to the key would prove it) and then you started to talk about how good singers aren't necessarily great artists (Which is so fucking obvious that you shouldn't have even bothered saying it) to move away from your magnificent DERP.

That's Mark summed up right there (That's not his words out of context, that's all he wrote).

This coming from someone who defended the fangirls.

Nice one! :awesome:

Seriously, you can't judge someone based on their fans. . . that's just ridiculous.

that's just ridiculous.

Welcome to the world of Mark.

Maybe we should make a new section in the forum, the WOMa, so Mark can post his opinions and you don't have to see them everywhere! :cheesy:
