Drum kit or delay pedal?

Featured Replies

I have some money. At first I really wanted to buy a delay pedal, to make my guitar sound awesome but I also REALLY want to play drums. I seriously can't choose!

HELP ME.

Jesus you can't find a delay pedal cheaper then a drum kit?

The delay pedal I want is around the same price as a cheap drum kit off Trade Me (New Zealand's version of Ebay)

Cheap music instruments that you buy off ebay (or Trade Me in that case) usually aren't that quality and you just get frustrated because of how the sound quality sucks.

So I'd go with the delay pedal.

can't you make your guitar sound awesome without the delay pedal?

buy the drum kit.

This, me too :cheesy:

A drum kit going for around the same price as a delay pedal? If that doesn't set off the quality control part of your brain then may I suggest being a bit patient and saving up for a product that's actually worthwhile.

This. Cheaper instruments aren't really the way to go. Case in point, some time ago (before high school), my parents bought me a clarinet at a flea market for $40. Yeah, it plays, but because it's a cheap clarinet made of plastic, the sound quality on it is les than desirable.
