Are you now actually going to pretend you were just trying to get a reaction?

Absolutely not! I was merely highlighting what was fact. |You're far too presumptuous for your own good.

Just your response was so pathetically weak and pointless I couldn't imagine why you even bothered posting it, and that's all I could think of. Next time go Dfit style- when you've got fuck all to say back just say nothing at all.

To be fair my one didn't stink of denial.

if eno died everything will be perfect:blank:

Poor taste. You can't blame the producer of The Joshua Tree for Coldplay's disappointing LP4

Actually that is fair, if you're going to make a response at least you didn't try to justify being totally mis-informed. It's still frustrating to hear such bullshit being spread, and I will ask him about why you got this impression, rather publicly.

Amazingly enough i liked viva la vida but i blame him for U2's album NO LINE ON THE HORIZON

Oh I didn't get it from him. I rarely talk to him in fact. It was a rather public, bitter feud which made you look.... :embarrassed:

Yes but that's from your angle, which is totally fucked.

OK then regardless, you didn't get that impression from him, so where did you get it from?

Impression?

It's like you have the attention span of a goldfish. Where did you pluck the following opinion from:

Well all I'll say is should I be accepting presumptions from someone who accused another member of the forum for being a hacker/pervert despite the member in question proving the evidence to have all been said within a forum which subsequently got you banned.
It's like you have the attention span of a goldfish. Where did you pluck the following opinion from:

You got so paranoid and started making unfair accusations which eventually got you banned. That's pretty much true isn't it? You claim an isolated incident with the site owner got you banned but it's obvious it was an accumulation of what you were saying. That was merely the straw that broke the camels back. It's not an impression. It's the truth.

I can't believe you called me overly presumptuous and yet this is how you form opinions.

No, it's not pretty much true- at all, publicly on this forum only within a few hours of my sudden banning, I mentioned how I'd probably get banned soon and Ian said he couldn't give a toss whether I get banned or not, and had no intention of doing so. I mention his family, straight ban literally within a few minutes.

I did post private PMs between me and Ian, which pissed him off, I went on many rants about Ian's intelligence and capability to run a forum/manage people, which pissed him off, but he still maintained that he had no reason to ban me (apparently). Of course, he probably was a lot more pissed off then he gave the impression of, and wanted something to tip him over the edge, but that was more because personally I had pissed him off and he took a disliking to me, my banning had absolutely nothing to do with unfair accusations, it was my personal attacks on Ian.

The main point- Dfit did write to another forum member by VM, for all to see, that he found my e-mail and intended to send a DoS attack, any other forum? Automatic ban. He has yet to comment on this.

The various other stories of people's addresses being found by dfit etc. etc. blew it up into this cloud of 'paranoia' as you put it, but the whole point of that big issue was that Ian blatantly neglected what was an issue that needed to be addressed.

This thread sucks, VLV wasn't crap, Brian Eno's not crap, Coldplay should not die, and this thread needs to be locked somewhere Far Away.

I don't give a shit whether anyone here agrees with me so don't bother posting a reply.

Few things need addressed. How on earth did he get hold of your email address and secondly he intended to send a DoS attack? He never actually did did he? Also ever thought it was possibly an empty threat?

http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/converse.php?u=36069&u2=16502 (For some strange reason that only shows Dfits side of the conversation- possibly because he removed his VM feature, the other member is Bright).

Now remember that I have been a forum member for 7 years and I remember when I first started I did publicly post my e-mail address for MSN, which is now different. He found my old e-mail address (Doesn't it creep you out at all he searched back over roughly 5 years to find my email?) and considering he went to that effort I did indeed feel he was trying to send a DoS attack. At this time I was intending to leave the forum for a while and I wasn't intimidated by a DoS attack, he didn't have my e-mail, I scan anything suspicious, and I don't think my virus program even lets my system open a virus.

But regardless, because it doesn't matter about whether I was genuinely afraid of getting a DoS attack, and this is what pisses me off, people like you and Ian are so fucking thick that you miss the principle. You see everything as so simple and black and white- 'Why's he worried about a DoS attack if he knows he won't get one?'

Well you would see it that way if you don't give a shit about anyone else. Like I wrote in the PM to Ian:

"I'm definitely not the only one this guy hates, he has several enemies on here (Probably more I don't know of) so although I have firewalls and know how to avoid viruses, what's to stop him doing that to someone else? It would shut down their computer, they may have to spend a lot of money repairing it or even getting a new one, and who does that come back to?"

I don't really want to see a forum members computer getting jacked because Dfit took a dislike to them. Maybe you don't give a shit, maybe you don't understand the point of it all, probably.

To sum up my I was mainly pissed off by how Ian handled everything, after assuring me he takes it all very seriously he literally didn't even read the short intermission of chat between Bright and Dfit and even gave Bright a warning for giving out my email address and trying to send me a DoS (In the original VM convo Dfit said that he found my email and then posted my incorrect email address to show he had it) and the whole thing was just fucked up.

^ Can't you two take your discussion somewhere else??

You think this thread is shit anyway, and no we can't.

I hadn't even seen the sig.

Emma :(

Oh I thought you had seen the sig and then said it

I wasn't actually upset bout it, people are entitled to their opinions on different bands :nice: I like them.

The poll is kinda dumb :) But hey, that's what happens when people who can't spell get bored.

Seeing as I'm bored senseless, I'll go ahead pick Coldplaying. Sorry. Just the more replaceable option.

On a sidenote: what up, Reilly? I really have to visit here more often.

It's nice to see you're still getting hate 6 years on :P

"It's nice to see you're still getting hate 6 years on :P"

.........so sig worthy.

Let this site die and all the mooncups who post on it even if some nice people are lost as well.

Almost everyone on here who i might miss is friended on fb already anyways.

Not the band composed of good people who make great music that help a lot of people deal with the problems in their lives and leave 4 distraught families in its wake.

Thats is all.

 You can also just leave the board .... no need to have it die.

Hey Irene, sometimes you gotta create the hate.

So do you just post here to piss people off with vague paranoid snidey comments?
