What you think about of this concept?

Is it art? Or is it nonsense?

and why ?

I always thought the singers of hard rock for breaking stress

there are many singers who destroy hotel rooms.

For Chris Martin, I read in an article at the beginning of Coldplay, Chris Martin had indeed trash a hotel room.

I do not know if someone can confirm.

Chris Martin would be one of the least likely people I would expect to trash a hotel room, or driving his Prius into a swimming pool:laugh3:.

Then why do you link to an article that says he'd never trash one?

this.

and about the subject i don't care if a musician i like bother to destroy stuff he/she is not the owner of. i don't think it make them any better or worst artist.

thought seems it is the rule in some musical genres or some decades in music.

i think mostly there are lies that people tell, as when they say stuff as Keith smoked what he smoked or that Valo jumped off the hotel balcony...

they think they are doing something 'good' to them, when they aren't.

destroy a hotel room is not good.

but anyway we all have defects and me when it goes wrong, my room is like a site of battle, nothing is in place a real trash. I even saw some real spiders on the ceiling

yes is not good and more if there's no point in it.

might be if the destroyer is under some sudden pressure or so, would be 'justified' but if is just for fun is pointless, mostly cause it's been done before :dozey:

I don't like it much when musicians wreck thier instruments on stage either, although it's rarely done now I just think it's such a waste.

How is that a relavant comment to the topic being discussed?.

i hate it when they do so with instruments, don't they suppouse to like them, why destroy them?

last time i saw it was Stefan (Placebo) destroying his Flying V on stage 'cause it was not sounding fine' :disappointed:

Haha, that's okay. In the article they say that he worked as a cleaner in his youth. He did not trash a hotel room, he cleaned them.

That gets me, he could have just swapped it with another and got his tech to sort it out but smashing a guitar like that is such a waste of a wonderful instrument, plus the time and effort he probably put in getting it right for him then to just smash it:confused:. I don't think anyone has ever been stupid enough to do it with something like a vintage Strat or Les Paul though I would be activly angry if someone did that as there are a very limited number of both left from the early years.
