Wondering how and when and why people on here joined!

 

If this gets some replies, you can all listen to me whine about how I've been on here forever like some sort of grandma :)

 

But seriously, I'd like to know what brought you to Coldplay and -ing.

I was at Y!A and I was a total Coldplay fan, and this girl, LadyBellaStrawberry here, told me about it.

I found wikicoldplay through google, then I found coldplaying, then I discovered the forum. I lurked for months before I joined though.

 

I only joined because I was tired of it randomly not letting me lurk without having an account.

October 2009. I had seen Coldplay live for the first time in June 2009 and was in a total fangirl stage. I don't remember exactly how I came across the site...I just remember that I had checked it out a few times before making an account here.

I discovered Coldplay in Summer of 2009, and then I found Coldplaying when I was looking up info on the Strawberry Swing video. :lol:

I discovered Coldplay in September 2009, and Coldplaying in December 2009 when re reading a photo blog - Wembley I think- and saw one of the shoutouts. Then I went to see 2 shows that were "Laser Coldplay" in the area advertised through the site, and actually joined just to say it was a really cool show. :lol: that was February 2010. :nice:

Then I was a bit scared by everyone so got a good friend of mine to join (I<3guyforlife) and we stayed in Lounge Games for like the first week. :wacky:

I had been lurking around for a few weeks before the night I saw Coldplay. I joined the day after that. Pretty sure I only posted in the Coldplay section for a few months...

I first was lurking on this forum in 2005 a little bit on and off looking mostly for coldplay rare stuff and b-sides.

 

Then I remember liking how the WoM was, so I joined in 2008, and stayed mostly in the WoM to talk about music

I think I was on google and accidentally wrote Coldplay wrong and I appeared on suggestions maybe you meant Coldplaying and I was like Coldplaying? Let's see and I found the best site of Coldplay I had ever seen :D !!! News, forum, information, gallery and more :) !!! Greetings

I joined in March 2010, just so I could download the stuff on the Multimedia forum! Once I'd done that, I very rarely visited... now it's just as important as Facebook or Coldplay.com that I visit everyday!
