I was googling Coldplay, and suddenly the whole thing, with holy war with the creepy 'Chris martin is god' thing came on.. And i thought that this site was funny :awesome: And a few months later i decided to be a member,.. Then i forgot my user, and then a few months after i came online.. And now I'm here. :nice: :awesome:

I googled Coldplay when I was 11 and I signed up.

I think I was specifically looking for a Coldplay message board and then found Coldplaying. I lurked for pretty long though, not every day, but I think over years, haha.

I only joined in 2008, then posted a bit and got lost again and only really started posting after I went to two concerts in August 2009.

aw.. some people probably won't like to talk about it. ooooh the unbearable shame.

I went to see coldplay november 2008 & wanted to meet more fans..

so I joined.

it was all very exciting.

Hahaha, almost the same for me (except that I saw one concert of them in 2009 instead of two and then joined finally to post)

still posted mostly about Mew instead of Coldplay I think :shame:

In december 2010 (yes i was late!!) i was looking for LP5 news and i saw coldplaying.com

thank god for i found that site :D because admins and mods and other members are very very successful at find non-hear news and photos.

I got really into coldplay about November/December 2009 and would read the website for news a bit but I joined in May last year and have more and more become addicted to this place.

I discovered in September 2009 just because I didn't have internet before (thanks to many providers)

I joined here august 2003, i was yet in high school, last 2 years.

i was researching info about Coldplay, no site was in spanish so i joined this one as i started some msn and yahoo groups, which managed to get around +500 people with few promotion, i linked some of them (introduce the leaders from this and that) other similar groups, from a britpop group on msn and a girl from mine they started the coldplay spain site... i never got recognized for that or whatever, i don't care, though i think they should make it official as is in Argentina.

I managed to see coldplay twice only in the last tour, once in Spain then in Uk, and took part in the board meet.

I'm one of the oldies, and i still remember some people that used to post here, as the JoMiFiKiRenAle thread, people as MrsBerryman, Alessa, Joyce, mainly for the WoM section as Kettercat or the old Simon, and the ones that kept the poetry threads alive as Miro and Mike.

Though i was unactive in end 2005 to mid 2007, the board seemed totally different since then.

Ari is one of the first Coldplayers that approached me when I was a noob

...those times, when I use horrible English :disappointed:

I googled Coldplay when I was 11 and I signed up.

so ur a 13 lol?

Anyway. I hopped aboard the Google Express in search of a Coldplay forum. Alas...

googled for pictures of Guy. ended up on the Guy thread. lurked there for sometime before i realised that there are other stuff on the site apart from that thread. (i was such an internet noob then.) :| signed-up a month after that to lurk more. :wacky:

I found wikicoldplay through google, then I found coldplaying, then I discovered the forum. I lurked for months before I joined though.
:stunned: Whoa. EXACTLY the same for me.

I built the death star.
That's a sig-worthy quote, if I ever saw one.

I joined back in July of 2009. I was bored during the summer, so I started making things on photoshop and I came across this site when I was looking for photos of coldplay :nice:

I didn't join straight away actually  I came back again after like a week and joined. Then I didn't post anything until one of the photoblogs.

True story, Ian.

I joined in June 2004 (SUCH a long time ago). I'd been aware of the existence of Coldplay since '99. I was ten and I'd heard Yellow on the radio and recorded it with my walkman, then played the tape endlessly. Our family only got internet in 2001, and it took me until 2003 to re-discover Coldplay more seriously together with my two then-best friends. One of them discovered Coldplaying at the beginning of 2004 and convinced me to sign-up.

The three of us finally got to see Coldplay live in 2005.

It's been an on-again-off-again relationship with both Coldplay and the board; I've always stayed true to them in my love of their music, but there have always been periods where I'd just not listen to them because there was other exciting music. Then I went to college, got a life, got new friends and a fuller and fuller schedule. But every once in a while I went back to send in a mixtape, catch up with some oldies and generally see what was going on.

So! If you guys keep it fun and interesting for me, maybe this can be my Coldplaying-rebirth? ;)

I joined in....2009? Lol wow. I remember seeing the site linked to a lot of photos and then kind of lurked. I joined shortly after.

PENIS.

Actually, lul means penis. :awesome:

i think i remember you, you shared some writings here, right?

are you yet on it?

I dont really remember how I found this place, but I think I came across it while googling Coldplay

There was a rumor about Coldplay coming to Lebanon so I googled it to make sure it's true (and it wasn't :( ) and saw this thing named Coldplaying-Forum

I joined because I was on Lily Allen's forum and I wanted to see if there's any Coldplay forum and then BOOOM Coldplaying!

^X&Y is shit

and i joined the forum coz i was bored after a really bad breakup

erm, no, it's not.

edit: and i was actually talking about for the forum. actually, this is a prime example of why the forum has pretty much sucked for the past year or so.

X&Y is awesome.

I don't actually know how I got here, I think I just google'd Coldplay.

I was in Coldplay fangirl mode and wanted to find out what I could about the band. Google led me here. It's weird thinking that I'll have been here for two years at the end of next month. I've had more posts here and have managed to stay here longer than with any other forum I've ever been a member of. Funny how that works.
