OK, I'M GONNA EDIT THE FIRST POST SO THAT IT CONTAINS A LIST OF REQUESTED BANDS AND ALSO THE POST IN WHICH IT WAS REQUESTED (IN CASE IT HAS STIPULATIONS ON WHAT PEOPLE HAVE HEARD AND DON'T WANNA HEAR AGAIN, OR IF THEY JUST WANT THE ROCKIER STYLE SONGS ETC).

 

That way we keep a track of things and people won't get forgotten.

I completely know what you mean since I got into Bowie, I joined some forums and a lot of them discuss Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground but I can't seem to get into the band or his solo stuff other than Perfect day.

well I kinda feel the same about Bob Dylan, too...I tried to get into him, but then I noticed that it is pretty hard to find his songs online (I might be wrong....)

Youknow, with the Beatles , I could post a shitload of songs ,

but I guess they're just a band that you get into or not ...

You just have to listen a lot , go through their albums and maybe you'll get into it ...

That's how I did it , I put their best albums on my mp3 and just listened ,

without knowing too many songs except for the classics ...

then after just repeating and hearing again ... "it got me"

I also heard a lot of their songs just by being into Oasis ,

and then you hear someone talking about this Beatles song and you search for it ... and so it goes on ..

Btw ; a hard thing with the Beatles is ofcourse that you haven't got live gigs (duuuh :p/:()

but you can't watch a shitload of video's by the Beatles and all the last gigs they did ...

Which you can with more recent groups ...

I'll make a Beatles Playlist, and also a Dylan one too... just give me some time. I'm not a huge Dylan fan, but I know a good amount of songs I guess.
