What are your favourite sounds of all time?

Featured Replies

Mine would have to be (I'm not sure how to put it in English) the evening song of a blackbird.

And thunderstorms and the sound of rain when I'm underneath a roof. Hmm, and waves on a shore. And the voice of somebody I love.

Sometimes, when my head feels tired then it is the SOUND of SILENCE.

Bird song - the sound of waves on a shore and rain !

somesounds I like (usually when I'm trying to sleep) are sounds of rain, cars passing by, long cargo trains passing by.

I love the sound of rain. Or the sound from waves at the ocean.

yeah me too. I love me some far away trains passing by.

The sound of the waves crashing on the beach.

I like cars passing by too when I'm trying to sleep. I also looooove the sound of crickets when the sun goes down on a nice summer day.

Oh oh and my loved one's voice when she is sleepy.

I LOVE the sound of heavy rain when sitting in a car with the engine off.

And-this is corny- but I love the sound of my boyfriend breathing as he sleeps.

I love the sound of silence...but especially the sound of silence as the snow falls around you.
