May 23, 200620 yr long life to Photoshop lol I almost didn't notice (seriously - your comment made me take a second look) :laugh3: 1) I like the new ones - 15 Steps really does it for me, what a genius of a song! :shocked2: They (I suspect it has more to do with Thom than anything) have finally allowed themselves to let their hair down and be happy. As was commented in the news, Radiohead being sunny and having fun... :o But I luff it, what a nice change. 2) I felt the new songs were closer an even earlier period tho... somewhere between Pablo Honey and The Bends (in spirit at least) rather than OKC. I think they're returning to where they started - but the songs are so different (10 times more complex for starters) from the early years because obviously they've come such a long way since then. They're such a great, amazing band, and to see the potential they've realised since they started out is just :shocked2: Everything about this band musically is just :shocked2:  3) I was a little bit surprised at the quality of the songs though. Obviously they're probably still tweaking the songs but I felt most of the songs lacked the usual RH punch of their albums. Apart form 15 steps (which was totally mind-blowing to say the least), the others seem to lack their usual intensity/complexity... I mean they're still great songs (compared to everything and everyone else out there) but I thought they would've tweaked their ideas a little more. The musical themes/ideas are really good but seem a little under-developed - anyone else noticed or is it just me? 4) Finally, a huge request - can anyone post links to filesharing sites (preferably RS) for any of their new songs / gigs? From what I can gather, vids can't be ripped from Youtube :( I'd just die if I had 15 steps :)

From what I can gather, vids can't be ripped from Youtube :( I'd just die if I had 15 steps :) i really like the new songs  15 Step is mind blowing!! i absolutely agree with you, somehow it reminds me of Idioteque, but still they're totally different. 15 Step is much faster and makes me dance , though Idioteque is better lyrically. but comparing these 2 songs is unfair, still we don't hear the studio version of 15 Step which is hopefully will be on the album. the other personal favourites are Arpeggi, Videotape and Nude. these songs are absolutely brilliant. ahhhhhh!!!! Videotape is maybe one of the most beatiful songs ever :shocked2: and i'm not joking... you'll find the available gigs here (temporally some are not available, check the site in 1 week or something) : http://lders.nl/ EDIT: http://www.radiohead.com/deadairspace/
May 23, 200620 yr i just cant wait to see these songs on the album, recorded and tweeked to perfection!! :)
