Radiohead

Featured Replies

i didn't mean it in a negative or rude way nik ;)

i was just wondering, because we all know that you are a huge radiohead fan, and have never liked muse. i know you listened to the whole thing, but do you get what i'm trying to say? i dont know it probably won't come across the way i intended it to.

i didn't expect a lot from this album, because the previous Muse albums disappointed me, but i do believe that bands can change and especially they can progress. even if i still don't like Muse, i will listen ti their 5th album because i'm sure many people will call it brilliant. and why shouldn't i listen to an album which is maybe fantastic according to some people? i listen to music and rate it, nothing's wrong with that.

well seriously...i did not expect that Muse fans will give that big fuck to my reivew ;)

i'm already famous  :charming:

  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

But Bon' date=' that can also work in the opposite way, I'm sure if say you rated it you would give it a 9 or 10 out of 10 because you are instantly biased towards the fact that you adore them.[/quote']

i'm not disputing that, that's why i keep my muse love to the muse thread. you know?

i don't go around making threads about how i dislike radiohead (obviously because they are one of my favourite bands), but do you know what i'm saying?

that's my point, because nik loves rh so much and has always been known for thinking muse are a "baby radiohead" then he's not exactly going to write a positive review about it.

i get ya, point accepted. that's all i was asking in my previous post. ;)

hey...

i adored coldplay and hated rh because they were weird and all...but if i hadn't gave it a listen, which i thought was necessary if i wanted my music culture developing in life, and i fell in love a total one..you see? if music is good enough it will turn you around even if you're hardcore hater of some artist/band and if there's even a possibility of doing that why not give it a try and , in Nik's case, even listen to Muse?

I have never heard any Muse songs at all,but upon hearing all this discussion about muse and radiohead,I will have to check them out and see for myself..

well well! ive just finished listening to The Bends, and actually i was suprised... the album is pretty good, it dosnt get better than Fake plastic trees and Street spirit (hail) but now im in love with Bullet Proof... i wish i was and Just, the rest of the album is pretty ok, ill try downloading OK computer since ive heard its better.

And Rick, ur gonna love Muse. They are awsome!

what brought this on will?? I have talked to you about radiohead many times and you slagged them off

Why the sudden change of heart??

no sudden change of heart, my relatives came from Canada yesterday and they brought me the bends. ive listened to it and its not bad...

how could you judge a band before if you got your first album only yesterday?

Yes I am not impressed that you slagged them off before even hearing any of their songs...I would never ever comment on something I have not heard

he just posted in the muse thread with a muse video saying it's their best ever
