My dog HATES Thom Yorke!! Everytime I put him on, (not radiohead, specifically JUST THOM), my dog always starts barking like mad!! So now I can only listen to The Eraser on headphones!!

 

Stupid dog!! Yeah he's barking again.

guys--i'm going to get Amnesiac from my mother for christmas. i mean she already bought it yesterday but she thinks i don't know about it. it was so funny.

we went for christmas shopping and i wanted to go to one mall and she wanted to go to another saying:" i HAVE to do something there". and i , normally didn't get it :rolleyes: ,was so pissed cus i had to go to that another one. so we entered that mall (i didn't want to go) and went straight to cd shop i adore and searched through RH albums with "i wish" face, and then my sister starts saying:"come on Zorana, we HAVE to see what's in other stores, come on, come on" and i'm like "i'm not moving from here,totally pissed, with the constant gaze on RH's albums " ..and my sister starts to whisper:"i'm going to kill you if you say this to mum, but we have to get the hell out of here, mum wants to buy RH album for christmas, if you say this to her, i will personally strangle you in a second"..then my shocked face appeared with a huge grin and i basicly ran out of the store in a second... we made a circle around the mall and returned to cd shop and amnesiac wasn't there anymore :D you had to see my mum's face when she realised i'm coming in her way (after she bought it), hands in the air, panicly trying to hide the album. i pretended i i haven't see it. AMNESIAC!! my fave (well next to Kid A which i already have).

now i have to pretend excitment on christmas, that's not a problem, i won't even pretend...oh i'm so excited...

That sounds so cute,you seem so genuinely excited to get a radiohead album...all of the rh albums i have i've searched for and bought myself :dozey: :lol: but i asked for ok computer for christmas as one of few cds i wanted,hopefully i will get it, i just wanna complete my collection :tongue:.

 

I'm glad you are going to get it though, i came in from a shopping trip i'd done the other day to get bits for presents,and i put on amnesiac loudly,while wrapping presents etc, i just love it atm.

amnesiac is probably the only album even which i've felt as a story telling without hump-dump on the way. really amazing.

 

as for me genuinely feeling the excitment...you know why? cus i don't see RH original albums as a compact disc with songs on it. you get amazing booklet that proves you that after they finish their journey once and for all you will have so much more, not just musical but also paint art. this sounds so stupid..oh well..you've got used to it :(

Today on work i suddenly heard radiohead on the radio! :stunned: Karma police! Oh i was so happy. It made my day! :nice:

i had a huge surprise this morning, huge box that had all these RH pics outside and inside it..my sister made it and inside of it were presents..the AMNESIAC. :wub: and sweets...

Wow ! So surprising ! I wasn't actually able to get a Radiohead album for Christmas, just 'cause I already got them all !! So no surprises :)...

 

Anyway I'm glad for you Zorana : I prefer Amnesiac booklet to the Kid A one.

I got ok computer....which i asked for heh,love the booklet in there,loads of pages,i actually agree cirrus, i prefer the amnesiac style to the kid a.

My dad, who usually complains about my music, got me both Kid A and Amnesiac. I was impressed. Listening to Amnesiac for the gazillionth time today right now. :cool:

 

Pulk/Pull makes my ears tickle when I listen to it on my big headphones- even with the volume very low. :thinking: :laugh3:

so about Amnesiac booklet..hm..i like Kid A more..

Amnesiac one is beautiful but you can see all the cold in it, just like in the album itself.. (the way i percive it)

my fave thing in Amnesiac booklet is the picture with those two guys hugging with those fake grins..brilliant...

oh yeah...my mum was so pleased with all the thrill she saw while i was opening the present..and yesterday evening..she said--can i hear some stuff from that cd...and i put her pyramid song..and she said, at first, it's liek theyre just learning to play piano :rolleyes: but after that she was KINDA, just kinda, into it...than she asked for something faster and i put her knives out and she had some kind of distant gaze..didn't know how to explain it to myself..and i decided that we'll have to give it a try with Ok Computer first.. :lol:

I got presents too, only nothing from radiohead, but ive got all albums already :)

 

Too bad im sick now:(
