Talk show host, i don't know about anyone else.....but i really love this song. I don't know why but it stands up as a great radiohead song that does not appear on an album of theirs.Compared to their other stuff, i still think it stands up pretty well,but then again thats just my opinion.

I want to know what you MEGA fans think of the track off The Romeo and Juliet Soundtrack called Talk Show Host. I didn't research to see if it was just taken from another RH album but yeah,Would you consider it a great song? Terrible? Compared to all of their stuff? Just wondering. Thank you for taking this question seriously. I look forward to your responses.

 

Personally, I don't particularly like it, but I don't particularly dislike it either. I generally avoid songs with intentional swearing in them, so that kind of turned me off of it. *shrug*

 

I've always been under the impression that it was a fan favorite, though.

Listening to it now for the first time...it sounds pretty good.

I always liked talk show host, I actually knew it before i knew a lot of Radiohead songs.

TSH is like 2nd song (just after idioteque) i fell for when i started listening to RH, Glasto 2003 performance shook me up totally...it's one of my faves ever.. it's amazing but what's weird i cannot imagine it on any album of RH.

Before being included in R+J Soundtrack, it was a B-Side to Street Spirit (Fade Out). Because they played it many times live, I think it's a band and fan favorite (but it's only what I think).

 

If I like it, well yes. I think it's one of the best songs in The Bends era, and - sorry if I hurt many fans telling that - I would've loved to find it instead of Just in the album. I don't like Just.

I knew that everyone wouldn't like me sayin this. Please forgive me. I have tried very hard, I've listened to it many many times, but for me, it remains the most Pablo-Honey-like song from The Bends, and I even prefer You, Creep and Blow Out.

 

About the vid : yeah Just video is fantastic, but never the best to me. Street Spirit, No Surprises and Fake Plastic Trees are way better IMO.

Seriously, I'm so much into The Bends period! This album is amazing, but I'm glad the guys keep on moving on - that's all for good. Not for each band, but for Radiohead.
