I can't stop listening to Pyramid Song, I keep playing it over and over again.

It's still the song I like the least of Amnesiac. I mean, considering it's probably my favourite album of ALL...

...James Morrison. Yep, After missing out on a Grammy, Thom Yorke failed to win the award for the Best British Male act at the 2007 Brit Awards. Well, maybe the NME awards are something for Thom?

 

Speaking of NME... The magazine reports today that Radiohead might be playing the Oxygen Festival (July 7 & 8) & T in the Park. Well, who knows? BTW, remember this?>>>>

 

Lowlands festival organiser Eric van Eerderburg was interviewed in today's Dutch newspaper Parool. Eric, reviewing the past festival weekend, was asked about the differences between this years Pukkelpop (Belgium) and Lowlands (Netherlands) bills and apparently Radiohead were the missing link.

 

"(...) Radiohead were booked to play two gigs at V in England this year, and were looking to play a warm-up gig in the Europe mainland. We were in talks to book them on Friday, but the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium started on Thursday, giving the band the advantage of returning back to England a day earlier. So they chose to play Pukkelpop instead. Next year Radiohead will release a new album, and this time we WILL book them. (...)" [thanks Radiomad]

I am not disappointed. Thom doesn't need an award. There are enough people appreciating his work, they don't need an award to tell them that.

 

Awards are a ridiculous thing anyway.

 

They honour and dishonour people at the same time. They are no big thing actually.

I've seen it in a music store and I haven't bought it. stupid me! :D Though I was very surprised when I saw two The Eraser albums in our localy music shop. That was something unbelievable....:stunned:

i don't think i'll find eraser in my country, but yeah eraser bends and PH are only missing in my collection.

Ha, you should come to Germany then... or better... Berlin. :D In my nearest record shop, which is quite big, there are like 30 copies of The Eraser. They only have one or two OK Computers though.

i think it's okey from him to do it, but on the other Thom isn't too good on a issues of slagging other artists every now and then. Chris Martin comkes first to my mind.

Nobody will ever beat the Gallaghers in terms of slagging other bands.
