  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

Oh now I understand lol stupid me

Earlier this year, Radiohead performed on the Grammy Awards telecast, teaming up with the University of Southern California's Trojan Marching Band for a sinuous rendition of the In Rainbows opener "15 Step".

The team-up between British art-rock geniuses and halftime-show entertainment was a particularly unlikely one, but it managed to overshadow everything else that happened at the Grammys this year, with the possible exception of a very pregnant M.I.A. rocking the stage in a ladybug dress.

Months later, this version of "15 Step" has finally seen commercial release, of a sort. The Trojan Marching Band has released a double-CD called Trojan Legacy, available only at the USC Bookstore and the Bookstore's website. It includes a recording of "15 Step" taped at a rehearsal two days before the Grammys, as well as marching band versions of many popular songs. This gives all of us the rare opportunity to hear Thom Yorke on the same album as two Breaking Benjamin covers.

To refresh your memory, check out a video of the Grammy performance below:

Just stumbled across this:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fAz54YWw6I]YouTube- "After the Gold Rush" - Thom Yorke (Neil Young cover)[/ame]

For any Neil Young fan, or just anyone who knows good music this is awesome. Thom's voice fits Neil Young's vocal style perfectly.

i've loved this performance for a while... i love how thom's voice cracks... works perfectly

Using falsetto it's wicked easy. I can sing about half that song in high tenor, the rest of hit I have to go up to fals.

It's pretty easy. Just do what Chris Martin does in like every song. Let your voice go and use your 'head voice'.

Chris Martin sounds like a crackling radio.
