  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

“Comparing Kid A to other albums is like comparing an aquarium to blue construction paper”

thanks Briggins!

So you like Radiohead....and voted for Green Day as top album of 2009? Hmmm aquariums and blue construction paper here!

I don't know if you can view it out of ireland,

but it you can, it's 50 minutes of a radiohead interview which

was quite good :D

The interviewer isn't annoying too. :laugh4:

Nothing new or exclusive in it,

it's just a run down of the bands career, and a small bit on thoms.

If it's of interest to anyone.

Nope, it's only available to Irelanders. :(

D: ah goddammit.

sorry guys.

There's one part in it,

and thom says his children were having a conversation

whether he was a Popstar or a rockstar.

:laugh3:

i think i remember seeing this a month or so ago... this was an interview with Ed and Thom right? and they're both sitting in a room next to each other with a window behind them right? I think they also talk of Kid A and ask Ed what he thought about working on it since it moved away from guitars.

Yes, That describes it pretty well.

 How?

well, It must have been out earlier.

one of the best youtube channels for Radiohead posted another great video... this one from the Leeds/Reading Festival (I think it was Reading)... anyway it's great to get to see. The National Anthem is quite epic. Also You can tell how it's really difficult for Thom to sing Creep, espeically getting those long notes.

Also its nice to see Maps (Yeah Yeah Yeahs song) played as the intro... especially since i'm more familular with the song.

I've set up a Facebook group to try and get Fitter Happier in the charts this Christmas. The Rage Against The Machine Christmas number one group made me think about which Radiohead track would be most funny as a Christmas single and I decided to set the group up for a laugh. I'm in no way mocking Radiohead, as I'm a massive fan, have been for nearly 10 years and they are one of my favourite bands, it's just 'Fitter Happier' would be hillarious in the charts at Christmas time, especially with all this X Factor shite which is being pumped out to us every year, it's past a joke! If you find this funny and want to join and maybe buy Fitter Happier from Sunday 13th December and try and get it as high up the chart as possible, please join!

Copenhagen Summit Global Youth Panel

Some debating will be done in Copenhagen by those who, whether they admit it or not, hope not to to see the full consequences.

The youth are the ones who will inherit what happens now.

Below is a site where a 1000 kids from 100 different countries are debating the issues.

Some fresh minds with fresh ideas and no baggage would be nice no?

Don't get me wrong this environmental stuff is important, but when are we going to see some news about what the band is up to? Even a picture in the studio would be nice.
