radiohead is a very good band though is not like... my style. But i think there're really good . and oasis just sucks , they've got like 5-6 good songs and 0 good albums!

 

The best its of course Coldplay! by the way, Muse its also good , some of the guitar chords remember me Cp , only they're louder

i don't really care how popular or how recognized coldplay are or become. i'm not really sure that being the best band in the world was one of their goals anyway? *lol* no matter what they'll always be the best to me!

 

 

very nice answer!!!!!! but to state my opinion on the topic of this thread id have to say COLDPLAY are better.....the only thing id have to say that makes oasis better than coldplay is in only ONE way....songbird by oasis is better than harmless by coldplay....but thats about it ....COLDPLAY is much better,...i cant seem to identify w/ oasis and radohead songs like i can w/ coldplay...

I never understood why Oasis was a good band?! :-o I think Oasis is just pomp and reborn Beatles nostalgia.

to my mind, Coldplay is at the moment the best British rock band because I was a little bit disappointed by the recent radiohead albums and I'm looking forward to listening to the new one and oasis is not very creative!

I'm not 'up' on Radiohead or Oasis but I'd say that after the equivalent of two albums of all three bands, Coldplay are leading the way and had the most potential :shrug: :?:

well i tried to listen to radohead and it didn't work out. also, even though i adore songbird, i never really liked oasis, so my answer will allwaysbe coldplay

It's all a matter of taste. For me, Coldplay is one of the best at the moment, for others, they really suck.

 

So it's all a matter of taste. As long as you enjoy the music !!!!!

I hate comparisons. I can rarely see the connections. I like Oasis a little, I love Radiohead, and I really love Coldplay. :) I just don't want them to get too big, but if they do I don't care.

Jeez people. Coldplay are a very good band, they've made one great album and one good album. Oasis has two classics, three good albums, 50 million in album sales and they've been doing it for TEN YEARS. And I don't even have to talk about Radiohead- they're already legends.

Radiohead - NO - but possibly in the future

 

Oasis - NO in the past - but possibly yes with regards to the past years material

theyre all good, id say radiohead and coldplay were better than oasis,theyre all good in their own right, of course coldplay is my favorite band, but i love radiohead as well ;)

maybe i should listen to a radiohead cd.... :lol:

On the topic, I'd say they have a great potential and that gives them a lot of freedom. I don't think they are already better than Oasis or Radiohead, but they might in a close future...

To those who don't understand why Oasis is said to be a good band... I guess that it's because what they lack of creativity, they have it in attitude. And they've made two CLASSIC albums. They shouldn't be sleeping on that though, stars* do fade away, but it surely gives them some credit...

And Radiohead is just Radiohead, it's become an adjective by now, a very good one, almost like a praise.

A few minutes later from the last post: I was wrong, it isnt' alike. I looked for Michelangelo in the Google and the sculpture I was talking about was Mary with Jesus death on his arms... I remembered him on her lap, like hte image in your pic, but it was different. Anyway, yours is a very good and strong one. ;)
