Havent listened to them in a long time, but they used to be my favorite band... I think they define the Pop-Rock sound of the 90s... Their chord structures and vocals are a big influence on me. Iris is one of the best Pop Ballads of all-time in my opinion... my favorites:

I've only heard dizzy up the girl but I listened to it too much and the c.d got ruined :embarrased: :rolleyes:

Yes! I love the goo goo dolls! They were my first real concert. After I started getting into Radiohead, I thought the goo goo dolls were, at times, repeditive and standard... but not everybody can be as insane as Radiohead and I still love the dolls as much as ever... and Coldplay is my favorite over Radiohead...

I think Jon Rzeznik (spelling?) is the coolest ever. :cool:

I hate how people say that Goo Goo Dolls sold out when they mellowed out. It was their decision to take a new direction. Plus, they didnt think that a song like "Name" would be so huge, it was a personal favorite of theirs so they put it on the album, and they were shocked when it made the charts.

I downloaded the album " Let love in " and i really loved their songs ! theyr're great !
