Can't wait!

I won't believe in anything until the band themselves reveal the release date. :dozey:

:awesome: That's cool!

It'd better be October 24th! :phu: 97 days to go, Coldplayers!

If the 24th October release date is to be believed then Coldplay will also have to compete with the X Factor machine with Matt Cardle's First Album. I'd hate it if this over advertised rushed heartless money making album beats the complete opposite LP5!

No chance, Matt Cardle would need to re consider , Coldplay will easily quadruple his sales! Coldplay would outsell anyone on the first week in albums.

That was my Guess as well because of the MX (Romic 1000 & 10 = 1010 = 10.10.11 xD)

Well i was pretty Close if its the actual Release Date, now it depends on the Original source if its really True.

CALL THE ORACLE!

i just want Oct. 10th, because that's my birthday. :P

I heard it was going to be in October for LA from a radio station. The Waterfall EP is suppose to come out today July 19, and I heard this from Dalton bookstore.

Well considering that was yesterday I wouldn't consider this a reliable source.

Here in the US, it's still the 19th.

Back to the Future then!

I heard about the July 18th release about 2 weeks ago. There will be 3 songs and it costs $2.99. That was the info I was given. I haven't been to any music store to see if I can buy it.

That was probably the Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall EP you were hearing about (which included Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, Major Minus, and Moving to Mars)... and that came out a while ago.. maybe not where you live, but it's been out in a lot of the world for a while.

Well yeah it is, sort of. I mean, it's old news here.

I am positive it is indeed October 24. I assume we'll get an official announcement early August.

i guess they will wait until they can announce album title, artwork, release date and tracklisting all on the same day.

October 10th would make sense, seeing as MX is the Roman numeral for 1010. But maybe that's just a coincidence?

I could see us getting a finalized release date sometime next week, possibly along with the title and then the tracklisting following a couple of days/a week later . . .

I think they'll give us all the information at once, including the first single which if the album is 24 october should be soon...

^ They might, but I would think that EMI will want to milk as much out of the album announcement as they can, thereby only giving us one piece of information at a time

I hope I'm wrong--that would be torture :P

It would be horrible, although at least we know we dont have to wait too much longer :/

10.10 could the be the Date of the Tracklisting, ig its true with the 24th.

So if the album really does drop in October...do you really think an announcement in JULY is not too early? I was guessing waaaay back that we wouldn't even know the album name until late August. :\

^ It's only 3 months. If they give us info one piece at a time we could get:

July - release date

August - title

September - tracklisting

And then get the album in October

We dont really have the Release Date yet :P.

But sounds cool.

I'd much rather get the tracklist first. :| I don't look forward to anything more than that. lol But you could very well be right. It's weird though. Chris said we'd get the title 6 weeks from that interview he did with Seacrest? That would mean mid August. :/ That's still another month. But it also suggests you could be right, about the title part anyway.
